Re: If you have 11 reviews, you surely have provider references. Use those. eom

Well, I *was* considering joining one of the verification services, as it seems close to impossible to meet most providers in AZ without being a member of one of those services.

After doing my research, my conclusion is this. No. Effin. Way.

I understand providers have to protect themselves. Clients also, though, have to think with their big heads instead of their little ones and look at the long-term.

Have people read the privacy policies of these verification sites?

These policies include clauses allowing:

Use of personal data for market research

In the event of a firm's bankruptcy or sale, personal data will be sold or shared

Eternal storage of personal data in "secure" databases, which, by they way, they will open gladly if the cops ask nicely.

Third parties, through cookies, can collect personal information through these sites

Your personal information, once entered, is no longer your own. It is owned by the verification service, so they can do as they please.

The busts of escort services recently prove one thing:  one is playing with one's career and life by assenting to such terms. After these busts, lists of people's names and personal information end up online.

Online is forever.

So tell me, what is someone to do, especially an occasional hobbyist?

Thanks.

If your not comfortable with that, then do not use the service. I do not verify with these services. I am however planning to tour a bit and will use one or more of these services on tour. Have you tried emailing the provider or calling about the topic? Offer the information that makes her feel comfortable via phone contact instead of third party? Provide her with plenty of reference checks?

Ps. Yay im unmoderated now so It won't take 2 days before I can join a convo

Well you should do a little more research I think. I'm not a shill but just read Preferred411 privacy notice. If it's to be belived, they collect enough information to verify you, then destroy all personal info. You can even call the info in and they write it on paper. Once your cleared they shred the paper and setup you account.

If you really want to go stealth about this. Get a free account at P411. Look for the ladies who will acept newbies. Once you have seen 2 on the board use them for a ref. to establish a referenced P411 paid account. Don't try it with one lady, Gina won't accept less than two.

At the end of the day you'll be Harry-A-06-5555 to P411 with and email address and nothing more.

Or just see ladies on Backpage or CL who don't require ref. That way you can have economic discussions with pimps, social and lifestyle discussions with LE, meet lawyers and judges, bail bondsmen, sleep in a tent.

I won't see a lady who dosen't screen or require ref.

Hope this helps.

Good suggestions, all, but JLWest, where are your reviews? Heehee

Don't write them and don't read them. I pretty much stick with P411 girls, one of the AZ boards and my ATF.

Tried to post a review here awhile  back, maybe 4 or 5 months.
Rejected=No Previous Review
So I'm not gonna write them. Not VIP so don't read them.

Congrats! but it looks like the board is doing the same thing to you as it has been to me: it puts up 2 duplicate posts sometimes. ???

Uh it is also obvious that some of those reviews are almost a decade old, from providers who are no longer in the business. Thus, the casual hobbyist label.

Again, good thoughts and I'll just keep plugging along.

if you post but you notice a mistake and you hit your back button instead of the edit button, to edit, when you re-submit, it'll submit a whole new post.

i noticed you were over in suggestion & policy regarding post edits so im just guessing that's probably what's going on.
