One of the ladies on this board replyed back that they more than likely had pimps. She actually called the lady that this other guy was asking about and found out that was in deed the case. I seen a lot of that recently on BP but not from the lady's here.  But this is just my two and a half cents

To be honest from my experience in this adult industry I would say 80% of providers are turned out by their black bf's whom are really their pimps, so daddy says no black men because he does not want the competition.  No one wants to loose their work, or $.

Sad, but true.  Feel free to talk stank now don't get offended because you & your wifey's share a black daddy.  There are rules to this game.  

Last time I was in AZ my regular discussed this topic with me because he is smart & arrives at least 10 minutes early to all his dates in order to surveillance the lobby action, etc..  His findings did not shock me, but it did him.  He told me 3 out of 4 providers have a black man in the lobby watching the provider.  These black men have lots of gold, or flashy jewelry on & he says they always stick out because in AZ no one wears heavy jeans, or clothing to vacation.  lol

Some guys care if their $ is going to a black pimp, and some do not.  I prefer to cater to the gentlemen who desires a real independent provider.

Pimps don't want to take the chance that one of their girls might go to another pimp, and it can happen fairly easily, so that is why the insistence on no black men.

I consider myself an equal opportunity perv and have had nothing but excellent, fun and respectful times with all the races I have spent time with Perhaps that is the advantage of being truly independent, as Patricia says !!

Not all are unfriendly, there are some great Providers in the Phoenix Area

I can certainly relate to your frustration,  but I can assure you that "all"  are not like that.  I am a gentleman of color, and a well respected hobbyist.  I visit the area from time to time due to family. There are many wonderful Ladies in the area that will gladly see you, provided you have the proper credentials for verification.
There are many reasons under the Sun, that some of the ladies have an NBA Policy.  You'll make yourself crazy trying to rationalize or get angry about it.  The way I view it, it's their prerogative, regardless of what you believe or think.  After all, it's not like keeping you from an education, job, equal pay, or etc.  It's their personal body.  What frustrates me are the ladies that have that policy but don't tell you.  I can at least appreciate the up front honesty and respect for my time.  I've always chosen to be thankful to those who make it known up front so as not to waste my valuable time or hers, and move on and focus on the wonderful ladies that will see me. That way it's a much more enjoyable mutual experience.  Just my two cents worth, and Happy Hobbying my Friend .

Don't fret

There's plenty of people here who are not close minded and do not see or judge people by a stupid color or stereotype. I for one only look to see if you have the right plumbing to snake my drain and that you're not an asshole.

I typically don't comment on the board, but I just happen to be very intrigued by this discussion. First off, i'm black. Secondly, both Patricia and Summer Stacks are dead on in their assessments as to why so many white providers refuse to see black men. I wanted to add a few other perspectives to the discussion. I have also noticed the plethora of ads specifying "No African American Men" that have recently popped up. In addition to the whole pimping phenomenon, there are also women that are turned off by the way they are consistently approached by a lot of black men seeking companionship. You couple that with the many bad experiences some providers have had when actually seeing a black hobbyist, then it is no wonder so many providers are hesitant. I visit Vegas twice a month and BOTH of the providers I see RARELY see black men. I don't blame them at all after hearing some of their stories. To any black guys reading this thread, I want you to keep this in mind: Always use he utmost professionalism and respect when contacting ANY provider. You are already dealing with stereotypes that are unfairly projected upon you by the media and pop culture. Sad but true. Your approach and demeanor should negate those stereotypes, and immediately put her at ease and  make her feel as though you are someone who she would really like to meet and spend time with.  And a little flattery never hurt anyone. Here's the funniest part of this whole discussion. Over the course of about 2 1/2 years I have actually seen, and continue to see  providers who don't see black men. I always chuckle when I see their ad runs even today with the the infamous disclaimer "No African American," knowing that I just had another blistering session with them. True story: Of the 11 providers I have contacted AFTER seeing their ad, 1 have seen 9. Of the other 2 that  would not see me,  one was actually named Aryan, as in White Aryan Resistance/White Power. Her family are white supremacists. She was courteous, kind, and we ended up taking for about 10 about her and her family's beliefs. Talk about a fascinating conversation. She said that it was because of how she was raised that she couldn't see me. Personally she didn't hate black people, but Her family had simply instilled their beliefs in her and she simply couldn't get past it. I remember when she answered the phone she asked me "didn't you notice that my name was actually "Aryan?" Even though her ad had specified no black men, I still didn't put 2 and 2 together. Duh! We both chuckled about that. As you can see I love a challenge. But even the best of us strike out sometimes.  Just my 2 cents.

...I follow hobby boards and BP all over the country and it's not just in Phoenix where women ask black men not to even bother calling them. It's common all over the country. Treat her like the goddess she is! She's not your Bitch and she's not your Ho! She's a goddess and deserves to be treated like one. How hard is that? Since you've found this board I assume you're as intelligent and affluent as the rest of us. I'm not criticizing you or how you treat women because I have no idea who you are or how you like to hobby but if you come on this board and claim to represent a certain group of people then I'll say "Clean up your act!". It starts with you, today. This topic has been debated ad nauseum over the years and it's welcomed when upright black men like you act respectfully toward all women.

Simply because an add states no black men does NOT mean some one hates black people. No black people under 40 doesn't mean some one hates a black person until they the turn 40?!

If you haven't gathered it yet, you are talking about a very personalized service. Imagine what you would experience if some one didn't tell you up front!? You aren't shopping for an accountant or a plumber or a place to stay.
