When it applies to those who are actually abused and forced  But Dave, how does this apply to us on TER?
Unless I am abused by ASU, who funds Project Rose, who forces me to pay them a buttload of money to attend their school?
Project Rose only connection to ASU is their anti-sexwork person helping coordinate with police and Catholic Charities indoctrination program vs jail.

Almost all of those rounded up to Bethany Bible Church are women like those active here and had included many of them.  Many are independent consenting adults like here - the sham in the excuse is children and trafficking but it is folks like on here given the choice of jail or six months of indoctrination on the evils of sexwork.

The definition of "trafficking" includes ALL sexworkers.  If it is coerced than it is "severe trafficking". Just in private consenting adults is plain trafficking.  That is part of the scam to raise millions in grants and donations to fund the "rescue" industry led by the conservative Christian and other groups that knows what is best for us, instead of the sexual freedoms most of the rest of the world enjoys for private sexwork.

New Sex Trafficking Johns Task Force of Gov Brewer

Here we go again, like Project Rose using the excuse to save children and rescue victims (by arresting them if don't go to Cathlic Charities program).  And of course the view is all sexwork involves trafficking since adults are not capable of choosing the profession unless abused etc.  Now its the Johns they want to focus new laws on.

9/26/13 Key focus on new task force is to toughen penalties against Johns and raising public awareness of the problem.

“I think we, together, cannot allow this unthinkable, evil, sick practice to continue,” Brewer said Wednesday as the group held its final meeting.

Brewer convened the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking in April looking toward the 2015 Super Bowl, to be hosted by Glendale. The committee will make its formal recommendations to the governor next week.

Rep. Doug Coleman, R-Apache Junction, said he expects the state Legislature to support cracking down on buyers of sex.

The draft recommendations said the committee will also call for an education campaign encouraging zero tolerance for human trafficking in an attempt to change the way society views paying for sex.

Cindy McCain, wife of Sen. John McCain and committee co-chair, said the success of the campaign will rely on the “good spirits and good hearts” of Arizonans.  “We look forward to working with tons of volunteers,” McCain said.

Gilbert Orrantia, director of the Arizona Department of Homeland Security and committee co-chair, said the recommended responses are balanced between statutory changes and awareness campaigns.

Taryn Mastrean, spokeswoman for advocacy group Shared Hope International, said Arizona’s laws are the key to reducing human trafficking in the state.  “Awareness campaigns are important, but if buyers aren’t deterred by penalties, you’re not really addressing the problem,” said in a telephone interview

Should be left alone. I agree that it is evil and sick to pay to have sex with someone who is a minor or who is working unwillfully.  Our community shouldn't tolerate it. To do so would make us party to it. Our community of clients should use discretion when it comes to seeing providers. This place should not be considered a free-for-all that would include true trafficking and sex with minors.  What kind sick person wants to see a minor child or someone who is being controlled by a pimp against their own will??? If we want to stay away from being lumped together with the sickos, we should not accept or tolerate them.

There are plenty of hot, horny, willing providers out there!
