How would they prove how much money you make ? ( Seriously, Pondering the thought )  I mean, If someone didnt keep a book of dates, and there isnt anything stating money exchanged.. One would assume, someone could have a website requesting money for "just looking pretty " and they could be making a mill a yr, or nothing.. who could tell ?

Dunno.... just pondering.  That said, don't think it matters about "being pretty" or whatever... that's the point, if you are getting paid you're supposed to pay taxes.

As far as LE is concerned it seems it would be about shaking things up.  Having 100 "escorts" or "escort sites" come in with their taxes would "shake things up" regardless of what ever comes of it.  Might be a bit uncomfy going to court saying you never had a a client... and your just paying for adverts and folks are writing reviews as a big on line game.  

Just pondering... hopefully nothing ever happens... OTOH, as SOME point one would think someone might want to collect taxes as the business gets bigger and bigger.

Wonder how long it takes LE to come to the conclusion to just find out real names and addresses and raid any "INDY" with a website just for "tax evasion"?  I mean, nobody actually pays taxes do they?

That would be a bummer... maybe I shouldn't give 'em any ideas but seems obvious, like what's his name, Al Capone... has this ever happened???

The government has a right to actually get copies of your personal bank records, including each and every deposit ticket.  When they see that you claimed that you made $10K, but you deposited $30K into your account, they ask, "So, where did the money come from" and that's the ballgame...  Tax avoidance is legal, and you should do all you can to pay as little as required, but tax evasion is not legal and will wind you up in jail.  Best to claim all you earn, pay the tax, and be thankful you had that much to claim!

To begin with LE does not go after your tax records, the IRS does. The only time LE would be involved is if it were a RICO act offense.

That being said many of us do pay taxes. I am sure many do not, but I personally know many who do including myself.

For the older ladies maybe it's not a big deal... in reality it would probably blow over at some point.... but for younger ones such a court deal could be quite an issue in ones future life.

Just pondering as I said... dunno exactly how things work... I DO know that if local political pressure comes to bear (plenty of morality types around!), they'll figure out a way to make taxes an issue.... as an excuse or whatever.  I wouldn't kid myself about that.  One would think it's smart to pay taxes.

Legalize, regulate and tax (sales, service, licensing, inspection, income, use, ad valorem, etc) such professional services. I think everyone except the ultraconservative groups, will benefit. Price for services would probably increase, but it would be worth ending this persecution of wonderfu; peopple and our natural needs and desires

I think that many more of us would go the brothel route to conduct our business the "right"way,which is paying the brothel half of our earrnings and then paying a high tax on the other 50% and still having to pay room and board and weekly MD screening visits and pay for all of our supplies at the end of it all it adds up .

Yes it is legal and safer then taking the chance on the internet of streets.I know that they are no longer giving any more brothel licences so its impossible to open a new brothel.

If the percentage was lower they would have many more girls working there and the rules need to be changed around to make both partys happy.

Nevada is a terrible example compared to in most of the world where legal.  Workers take far more of the income and fees are usually far lower than in the U.S.  Or indie outcall totally legal in almost all the world.

In Canada for example typical $200/hr using an agency the driver gets about $20, the agency $20 and the escort the rest.   Lots of business and guys and gals since no legal issues to worry about

Back in 2004 when I bartended for a few months I was hired to supply cocktails for a B-day party. After an hour or so I soon learned that many of the ladies had been or are some of the top providers. These ladies had worked in the early to late 1980's. Then there were some who worked in the 1990's and currently 2000's. Of course they arent members on here but I know of one who was at a time. What you all may not know is that women of the evening especially those who looked like Cindy Crawford,Pamela Anderson type made huge K's in their day. 2k per hr...5k per hr or even higher? Whats  sad is a few blew thru their fortunes on bad boyfriends or elaborate shopping sprees. Then some may have sucumb to the NOSE candy that was a big problem in the 1980's-1998. Their were also some who romanced famous actors who I refuse to name. Like they say about pictures and polaroid cameras "They don't lie".! LOl.. Then some got married and moved on. . I have been in this business for a time and I save,file tax returns. Excellent credit and yes most people look down on working girls as "Low class". In my words this life style has afforded me such comforts,,as traveling abroad,vacationing at resorts. No husband needed for that hobby either. Lol. Its silly to blow thru your Treasure chest...before long farther time will catch up with you..and what do u have to show for it? Save your money,set up a business plan and read Suzie Orman...D

I pay mine quarterly..fica,state and of course federal and local taxes.
Only a complete idiot would want to take a federal charge of tax evasion on a misdemeanor activity..seriously
