Would appreciate some insight and advice.  

I travel frequently to Phoenix for business and struggle to find reputable, fun, hot company.  Despite being a fit, normal, red-blooded single guy and having solid p411 references, Phoenix is always a bit hit & miss .

Traveling much in the US & abroad, i've noticed that P411 is much more robust outside of Phoenix.  In Phoenix, there are few independents (just a preference after a couple of weird agency experiences - not in Phx), surprisingly small number of providers, and limited useful information provided on p411 sites (activities, web sites, etc)    

My questions:  
Why is P411 so limited in Phoenix?  

 Is there a better place than P411 to safely find each other (please note, I tastefully avoided saying, " a good fit..." :

That doesn't seem "surprisingly small" to me. Also more that a "few" independents - if anything PHX has overwhelmingly more independents that agency.

Are you from the area? I ask because if you were, you'd know that Phoenix is in a weird place right now re the hobby (LE stepping up presence and what not - the reason why there's virtually no M&G activity). There's also a history of rip-off agencies as well.

Appreciate the insight.  

It just seems like P 411 is distinctly meager here - very
 different than other major cities.  

I live in Vancouver, Denver, and Chicago; travel a lot for work - including Phx.  I guess I'm not very familiar with the atmosphere in Phx - seems kind of oppressive & circumspect.  
Consenting adult fun is hard to find.  I've been spectacularly lucky and spent a lot of lonely nights trying....

Do people meet somewhere else (College doesn't count )

to perform the necessary due diligence in the Phoenix area.  Between TER and P411 you should be able to find a wide variety of reliable providers to meet your every need and desire.  You will simply have to put in the time and do some research.

P411 is a great place and you can definitely find some of the most beautiful and professional ladies in the area.  

If I was searching for someone to get acquainted with, it would be my first stop given the nature of the business model.  Much safer as well

When searching P411 in Phoenix, make sure you also pick other cities in the immediate area -- Mesa, Scottsdale and Tempe especially.

Or "Okays"?????

A reference is not the same as an Okay (IMO) and as a general rule of thumb, I believe the same thinking applies to many others.

Just because you may feel the "okays" you have tallied are solid, doesn't mean they are deemed solid for ALL others.  Hence, a reference is still required.  

If you are providing references then I would assume you have made contact with someone who has ask you for them.  

Solid okays with out requiring any references verification is greasing a path, but it's a slippery slope and should never be the only validation needed.
