It's not more common, nor is it just guys. I can take you to a dozen reviews written by young BP gals who want to get things going with their business and move from a daily ad based business to a board referal based business.
The reasons fake ads are written is for personal gain of the writer, but despite speculation as such, it's not because someone is a cheap ass.
What are those other reasons? I don't think that sort of info should be posted. It is more to everyone's DISADVANTAGE to give out tips and instructions in a public forum because there are people who want that info for "the purposes of evil" to put it in a tongue-in-cheek way.
(Similarly, I would never a noob any help on a board. One man's noob is another man's undercover leo.)
By the way--- nice diversionary tactic with the statement "This makes me wonder how many of the reviews under reviewers who seems like "veteran" hobbyists are actually fakes ones and just never got caught or called out for it..."
As a non-veteran guy, that shifts the normally greater doubt toward you to a more balanced doubt toward all guys, which can lead some to become more complacent.
How's that for a conversation you'd like to have while a cop is standing next to you!?!?
After all, that is what all discussion boards really are.
But if you were a veteran, you'd know that! Just sayin'
With the recently topics about fake reviews, it seems that it is becoming a more common occurrence. And recently Holly Berry brought up a point that her fake reviewer actually "seems legit" with lots of reviews already under their TER account. This makes me wonder how many of the reviews under reviewers who seems like "veteran" hobbyists are actually fakes ones and just never got caught or called out for it...
This problem is not only frustrating to the ladies, but to us too since we actually legitimately earn or buy our VIP accounts.
Just a though: Maybe we can brainstorm some things we can do as gents/ladies about this problem. I mean besides the ladies catching it after the fact and having to go through the reporting process. Which, I am guessing is not too efficient or at the very least a big pain the the butt. I guess I should start with an idea...but I don't have one at the moment...lol...hence the call for brainstorming
Good point. Not a good thing to discuss on the boards. Not thinking about this board is public.

As to doubts shifting towards me...firstly, I am not saying I'm a veteran by any means. I'll I'm saying there are those who earn or buy the account. I am not too worried with ladies doubting me per say. That's what the screening is for. Also having good relationship with the ladies who are willing to give references should help. If the lady I am trying to see ends up still not comfortable then o well...just move on.
Maybe a way to approve the reviewer by the providers ok?
Somehow we need to be honest without hurting the hobby!
