Has anybody heard that the Phoenix411.net is closing down at the end of Sept?

So what’s this another alias starting another rumor?

The owner sent me an email this morning and he has decided to move in another path.All good things must come to an end as they say.
   He is an amazing man and friend!I wish him well on his next adventure and wish to thank 411 for being such a great place to advertise.It will come to an end October.;(

Pho411 was a great resource for us out-of-towners.

And his presence and site in our little community will be missed.

Wow losing 411 is BIG! Where will we go? There is no other like it that I know of. Any ideas, tips on where to find providers after that?

get in there and get names numbers and websites before its gone. I have noticed a few old D&D girls posted on there now.

I have had several PMs today that that Glen is moving on. That’s bad news he has one the best sites available any where in this business and will be surely missed by the providers and hobbyist.

But I don’t think the original posted of the message AzLeahone is the same Leah that advertised on his site for years. Leah disappeared two years ago and hasn’t been heard from since.

I did send a PM today but got no reply.

I've had the pleasure to meet six of the lovely Phoenix ladies who have been on the site now or in the past, and I plan on seeing another next month as well....

That this all ties in with all the recent drama. Anyone "in the know" understands that Glenn had close ties too both the original targets of interest as well as others who might be currently under scrutiny.

I actually commented on these relationships and certain comments Glenn made (as well as a much broader angst) about the very blurred lines that evolved in PHX back in 2005/2006.

Rightly or wrongly those combination of actions and interrelationships created a tremendous opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a major case here specific to the "hobby". The actual legal ramifications go far far beyond whats already happened. Does that mean "the sky is falling"...certainly not. But for folks like Glenn who knowingly or unknowingly bellied up to "the RICO bar" the potential issues are very real and somewhat mind numbing. forget the "800 lb gorilla"...this is the eight hundred thousand pound gorilla.

Simply realize what your seeing here (glenn and TLC + a few other interesting anomalies). This one isn't over...in fact its hardly started.

It was her that posted and has recently moved back to Phx.

So guys keep a look out for her return here. She is a great lady.

Also, there has been fallout that has adversely affected the type and quality of clientele of more than a few independents.
