Frequency of reviews, or reviews at all should only be part of one's due diligence...

I look at many things prior to embarking on an encounter, however I will freely admit that the reviews and their perceived validity is a very important factor for many reasons.  This topic has been discussed so many times that I will refrain from rehashing it now.

One thing that is worth pointing out is there are an increasing number of great providers that desire a lower profile and do not wish for reviews to be written about them.  One provider that I spend time with and another I will be seeing for the first time next week have both requested that I not submit reviews and have explained their desire to keep a lower profile.  These are both very highly reviewed and well established ladies who may now go for a long time between future reviews, even though they are still quite active.

If the existence of reviews is a dealbreaker as some allege then you are really limiting yourself and missing out on some incredible opportunities.  Bret Grey and Lia St John for instance. Neither of these gorgeous women have profiles on here and while I have yet to see either of them, I believe them to be first rate and I will do so when the time is right.

And then there are a number of well established women who have not had a review for quite a while, even 6 months or more, yet they are active and I believe still likely to be performing their high quality services.  Sedona Weaver, Sexy Selena, Akiya, Savanah, Andrea Moorhead and the list goes on.

I guess the point to my rambling is this, I recommend keeping an open mind and to be very  thorough with your research.

I had 3 reviews total last year and 2 of those 3 aren't even local. Thank goodness VanNess came in and saved the day for me lol Otherwise it would indeed appear as if I had dropped off the planet. And it's not even solely because I'm low volume. Some guys just don't write reviews and I never, ever ask (unless its for a duo). 95% of my clients don't write reviews. They sure do read them though

Some girls pride themselves on reviews; the more the better.  Others don't..or maybe they only ask trusted ppl to review them.  And some hobbyists aren't ter members, and wld never write reviews to protect their privacy.

Reviews are just a small part of the overall process.
If a provider has not had any reviews recently I simply contact them and the locals to discuss.
Some of the best around simply don't ask or want reviews once they are established.
Some plainly state on their website that they don't accept reviews any longer.
I actually find that the personal website and personal contact are much more revealing.

If there is a good review history, but nothing real current I look to see if her web site (if she has one) has been kept current and refreshed.  Also, if she is active on the boards here that counts.  And if she advertises currently that's good.  If she has a P411 account and signs in regularly that's a good sign.  Of course if I've seen her before and am still able to contact her that obviously works.

A wise old man, well actually, he was the prof in a marketing class said "Never ask a question that does not have an actionable course if the answer is negative." We were discussing survey composition.

The same prof pointed out that the response to an advertising campaign can take the form of only three out comes, positive (sales increase), neutral (sales do not change), negative (sales decrease!).

That was a “light-bulb” moment—well.........duh!! Much of the time in advertising was spent on cost analysis, and consumer research; so much so that the obvious of his remarks were eclipsed by identifying consumer behavior, targeting, tailoring a message, campaign construction etc.

The few times I've mentioned that to people I've me,t whose adds I've seen, seem to get a glassy look in their eyes?

I only had 5 reviews total last year.

A few of those were from regulars who updated old reviews from the past.  Many gents simply, do not write reviews.  Yes, I am still active, but very low volume because my life is busy, so it limits my playtime.  Your choice, but as elitegray has pointed out you could be missing out on a good time with an excellent provider.

I personally see regular clients more so thus I do not get a new review that often.

There are providers that won't see folks who haven't seen someone over a period of time.  I have seen
provider websites that say they don't accept references from BP ladies. I have heard providers say they won't give a reference if they haven't seen you over X period of time.  Yes, it could be the Activities of Daily Living the reason you may not have current reviews.  It could be other things as well.

So if I look at my TER profile, I've not done much in the past 6 months, but that does not paint the whole picture.  As it has been pointed out, some ladies prefer not to be reviewed.  One I see on a very regular basis,(almost weekly) and as recently as this morning.  No review there either.  

There have been a couple of ladies I've tried to contact by email that had no recent reviews, but profile photos still listed on another site, but there was no response so I'll assume they were out of business.  

If I see a current website, get an email or text response, or best yet, a live phone cal, then that'll work.  In the environment we have right now, if a lady wants me to keep her privacy protected, I fully understand and respect it.

I have not posted a review for some time, but am active in the hobby. I spent some time in Toronto and Montreal and had a wonderful time there with several beautiful ladies but I did not post reviews. I have been fortunate to recently spend time with our local beautiful women but have not left any reviews. My reasons are both to be more UTR and to rspect the wishes of the ladies. What I have found is that since I have not posted any recent reviews the screening can be a bit more rigorous, which I expect and welcome. Does the lack of recent reviews by a client have an impact on wbo you will see? Should i be posting a bit more frequently? We all need to be cautious these days, but recent reviews or not, there is plenty of fun to be shared!

From through this thread it is clear that there are many top-notch providers with little to no recent reviews. In these cases, it is clearly up to the hobbyist to make the necessary research.  

Can experienced hobbyists here comment on what you usually do for researching on these providers?

...aren't that important to me. I am rather particular and I find reviews to be an important tool in researching new ladies. I do look for some evidence that she is currently active before contacting a new provider. This could be ad postings, forum comments, P411 activity, or recent reviews. I would never consider a lack of recent reviews as a negative.

.... only want 1 or 2 new ones a year to keep/feel current.
