You say we are not engulfed with ridiculous statements...but just on the first page of Phoenix Discussion Board I have 9 posts “user’s post is ignored” and those are just the ones that were originated by someone on my ignore list. That doesn’t take into account all their replies to posts originated by someone else.
I should add, I have less than people *total* on my ignore list, that covers all cities, not just Phoenix. And that is from almost 6 years actively on the boards working exclusively as a provider. At least five on my list were added based on local Phoenix board activity and all in the past two years. The boards in general have taken a negative turn, but it seems exaggeratedly distasteful on our local board. I would have stopped interacting entirely if not for the ignore feature. Xxx Maddy

Re: Don't use the ignore feature..... Criticism, hurtful, bizarre post we don't like are good; respond to them. Same in real life. It's all about life experiences and how we deal with and adress or brush them off. Difficult situations are good for us. Thankfully here on TER, the boards are moderated. We are not engulfed with ridiculous statements.
