Gentlemen and Ladies of this board what is your opinion of body art, such as permanent tattoos, henna tattoos (semi perm.) and body piercings. Guys,Do you have a adversion to seeing providers with any of the above? Ladies do you sport some skin art or piercings? Do tell or attach a pix, I think it would be neat to see who has what. I will show off mine if you show off yours lol.
Hugs and Kisses,
Malissa

I think body art and piercings are awesome. As long as it doesn't cover every part of the body. LOL
I have my name tattooed on my butt. I got it done in August. Naughtyrub with lips. I also have a dolphin on my shoulder, a gothic heart on my lower back and an ankle braclet with my husband's name above. But since I can only post one pic, I will choose the lips. If you want to see the rest email me and I will send them to you. As far as piercings I have my belly button and clit done.
Kisses,
Rub
You know that I love tattoos... but within limits for me. I'm not a big fan of the 'sleeved' look or any area too covered with them. Granted, I've seen some in the magazines that look awesome but that's not for me. I like something more feminine and those 'cover your body' ones don't look very feminine to me.
I'm the same way about piercings. As you well know, I just got my nose pierced a couple of weeks ago. It took me about 30+ years of wanting it to finally do it and since it hurt like %*@#%$!%#%&!!! I don't think I'll do it again in this lifetime! LOL I've always thought that the ears, nose and bellybutton are really sexy piercings and the tongue is OK (for sexual reasons more than aesthetics) but the eyebrow, labre (?) or other areas just look funny to me. But that's just for me.
My digital camera isn't working so here's an old one of my Phoenix Bird on my ankle.
Never too many tattoos. But I think little tats on ankles, calfs, backs of necks, & right above the butt (my fav spot) are so sexy.
As for piercings, they're cool. But they should be fuctional. See my earlyer post.
Now I need some help with pictures. First, I'm on WebTV & only have face pics. I would like a picture of my PA piercing. But I can't take a picture to Wallgreens to get developed or to Kinkos to download it. Any sugestions will help. E-mail me at: [email protected].
Thanks Don Jr.
hmm if you have it on cd you could create a hotmail account at kinkos and email it to your webtv account as an attachment (i think webtv can handle jpeg image attachments not sure though)
then just forward the image to whom ever you want.
or maybe a friend with a computer could help.
Hi Don,
I am going to answer you here since others might find this info useful. About a year or so ago I did still photos for an amature porno shoot (that was interesting!). I only had my film camera at the time and also wondered where I could get them developed.
Before the shoot I called Ritz Camera and inquired about that and was told by the manager that unless it contains kiddie porn or bestiality, you are fine. I shot many rolls that day and they did develop them no problem. Motophoto must have the same policy as the guy who I did the photos for took half to them and they developed them no problem.
Hope this helps,
Glen

I took same photos for a girl a few months ago. Some erotic low key stuff. Took them to a Walgreens that had a one hour process to place them on a CD.(43rd Ave and Glendale) No problem except for the manager and a customer having a fist fight in the parking lot on my way out.
I knew a guy who had a round, hairy mole on his arm. He had a naked lady tattooed around it. Guess what part was hairy.
What guys here sport skin ink ?? Just curious?
And buster that is gross...funny but gross lol ;P

I am a fan of piercings (other than nipple), but not a fan of tattoo's.
Is there a provider that piercings but not tattoo's?
which is a belly ring, but no tatoos. I found that one piercing to be painful enough and have no plans to get any more.
Tattoos are disgusting! Especially on women. They may be in style now, but who knows in 5 years? Think back 5-10 years ago and would you like all those stupid things you did be forever? They show a person who has no respect for themself. Nobody in their 20's is mature enough to decide what they want on their body for the rest of their life. I liked the comparison to a new dress. It is the most beautiful dress you have ever seen. You MUST have it, even though it is way overpriced. You buy it because you MUST have it. Do you want to wear that dress FOREVER, the whole rest of your life? EVERY DAY? EVERY NIGHT?
Two quotes you will never hear from a man "You would look better with shorter hair" and "One more tattoo, just one more tattoo and you would really be a hottie"
Wow! What a response!
If you're old enough to vote and old enough to go to war, you're old enough to decide what you want on your body!
Of course, what do I know - I like women with short hair.
but tattoos have been and still are growing in popularity in this culture. It's not just the bikers, military guys on leave or freaks in a circus with them like it was many years ago. LOL Now you see them on executives, doctors, lawyers, teachers, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles... they're popping up in all walks of life and on all kinds of people. Best of all, they are truly becoming a very definate art form. It's not just 'MOM' and a rose or a heart... there are portraits and amazingly elaborate scenes being created.
I'm sorry that you have such an aversion to them but, like it or not, they're here to stay... literally!
You are right, they are forever. That is the unfortunate thing! They are in style now, but what about in 5 years? They most likely will not be in style, but it is still on your body.
I manage people, some young. I had a very bright young gentleman working for me who decided to have two Chinese symbols tattooed on his arm. I asked him why he was so stupid as to have gang tattoo's put on his arm "They are not gang tattoo's, they are the symbols of peace and love" he continued "Tattoos are in style, didn't you ever do things because they were in style?" I explained when I was younger I had dirty hair down to my ass, bell bottoms, tie died tee shirts and the such. I explained I shaved, showered, bought new clothes and became human. I also reminded him the tattoo's are forever.
He ended up leaving the State for a high paid job. I lost contact with him for a couple of years. Out of the blue he called asking for his old job back. I asked him what was gfoing on. He explained "The company I went to saw my tattoo's and that was the end of my career there, and whenever I interview for a decent job I have to wear long sleeved shirts or they only stare at my arm and do not even listen to me." He continued "try wearing long sleeve shirts everyday. These stupid tattoo's ruined my career."
I great looking young lady was talking about getting a tattoo. I explained to her on a woman tattoo=whore. She gave me the in style lecture. I asked her to get a temp tattoo before making up her mind. She went to the same club two weeks in a row.First week before the temp tattoo, the second week after. She had it put on the back fo her shoulder. The first week she had the normal action, remember she is great looking. The week she had the tattoo she said "I can't believe it. The guys were much nmore aggressive, a couple even groped me. They treated me like a whore"
Yes these are both true stories. One other question I always ask anyone thinking of getting a tattoo. How will you explain it to your kids. Nobody wants their kids to become a whore. How do you explain to her " I let a strange man grab my tit and paint it." or I took my pants off in front of a stranger and he painted my ass"
Yes Tattoo's are forever. You cannot shower them off, shave them off, or just make them go away. My guess is that one of the up and coming businesses.....Tattoo Removal. Remember, as much as we hate to admit it, when we grow up, we all grow up to be our parents. The leaders of the nation today were the hippies of yesterday. Find me a 60 year old long haired bell bottom wearing, tye died shirt wearing in public success story. Tattooed women will end up back in the circus when the styles change.
Coyotefan,
I'm going to attempt to be tactful in my reply. For I don't want to step on anyone's toes here. Note, I, too, have NO tattoos and/or piercings. Here is was bothers me about your reply...in fairness to you, you do have some valid arguments...tattoos CAN be permanent and people like yourself do pass judgement on those with them, however; what bothers me is your choice of words. Throwing out words like stupid, whore, etc...if you ask me, in trying to voice your opinion...it was said in very poor taste...now that's permanent. Putting others down when it's their choice what they do and don't do, using inappropriate words...it makes you sound uneducated and judgemental...so my question to you is...who is the one that is really lacking class now? Are you going to tell me that Bill Gates doesn't have a single person working for him that has a tattoo. In NY...I have a friend who works for Goldman Sachs...this guy shows up for work every single day...head to toe tattoos...but he makes his firm about 13 million a year...now, do you think they're going to let this guy go because he is "stupid and trashy?" Cmon now...we need to be a little more open minded than that my friend. One more point...you need to look around. You're in the wrong place to be close minded...on this discussion board...we're about as open minded as they come. Think about what type of service the women provide on this board...do you really think tattoos should be their main concern in terms of people passing judgement? Again, you're entitled to your opinion and I totally respect that, I'm just noting that you're a brave soul in doing so. There is no way I would walk into a Raiders game with a Chiefs hat on talking trash about some of their players. Not a smart move.
Note: No hard feelings, just voicing my opinion as well. Enjoy the rest of your week.
coyotefan2 you like everyone is entitled to their opinion. I however have had many straight jobs (with my tattoos) and had no problems. Now I do not have full sleeve or huge tats, but they are visable none the less. I worked as an executive secretary dealing with "The corporate business world" Worked as a nurse in hospitals, Dr.'s offices and even hospice care, even worked for a local school as a teacher. Never was I ever approached or treated with less respect than any other woman due to my tattoos. I was never fired or let go due to my body art, all the prior jobs I have had would welcome me back whole heartedly, tattoos and all. I made the choice to have body art as a college educated adult, not as a youth inspired by trends. I think that as a permanent addition to your body, you should make the choice as an adult and not a youth. I changed my career and went with being a massage therapist full time and no one seems to have been bothered by my tattoos. I have children (ranging in ages from grade school to senior in high school) and they are also well adjusted and normal and my tattoos have not affected them in a negative sense. I think that each persons individual story will be different, but please don't group all of us into a catogory of tattoo = whore. People will treat you how ever you allow them to, and I don't allow anyone to treat me with disrespect. I also would never let anyone man or woman dictate the length of my hair, how many tattoos or piercings I can have or what I can and can't wear. My tattoos are an intrigral part of me an extension of my personality and a clue as to what my beliefs are. To liken them to a new dress, not in my opinion, I put more thought and energy into my decision to have them done then I would buying a new dress. I certainly will not end up in a circus, not unless I choose to go there and make being the tattooed fat lady my next career choice lol.
Generalizations and broad spectrum remarks only upset others who don't want to be catagorized. I am suprised at your choice of words (tattoo = whore) posted here due to the nature of this board and the hobby you chose to partake in, it may just be symantics but in my opinion it is a harsh and narrow minded choice none the less.

I never pull punches. You asked for our opinions. I gave mine.
I am curious why you posted the question in the first place.
What was the intent of your question? Did you want everyone to say "love 'em", "they make everyone a hottie", "have to have three or four at least"
If you want only nice answers post the question at "tattoo Magazine.com" if there is such a thing.
Seems a lot of times providers post here to have their ego stroked, (I am not saying that was your intent) and when it does not happen they get upset. Just like when someone posts, Should I get a boob job. Almost every guy says no, and the provider gets mad.
A gentler answer is that when I search for providers I click on no tattoo's and no implants.
even though I have implants
You are still somewhat open-minded then coyotefan.
While I do not agree with tatoos=whore nor do I judge someone because they have tatoos, it is still your opinion that was asked for and you gave it.
I feel that not all people can pull off tatoos and some people look great with them. Miss Sky Silverman is one that has a tatoo and looks mighty sexy with it! But then again, she could look good in a paper bag
Little Lisa (who left early part of this year) was another example of looking good with a tatoo. Maybe it's skin tone or attitude or just plain looking hot, but there are some people (men or women) that have the body for it. I've also seen some beautiful artwork in tatoos that have amazed me over the years. The tatoo artists are really skilled people.
I've learned (the hard way) that you should never judge a book by it's cover and people should do what makes you happy. Our bodies are our own and we have the right to do with them as we please, and if there's concequences because of it then so be it.
I find the prologue, followed by the chase scene, followed by a home run with the fans cheering, followed by a nice epilogue a much better reflection of the "book" than its "cover".

I posted the question to get everyones response, including yours. like I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, I don't have to agree with them though. I thought all your responses were fine, and you expressed yourself clearly and I respcted that. I just thought the whole example of tattoo = Whore (your words, not mine) were a little harsh, thats all. I didn't post it to get my ego stroked, I wasn't looking for acceptance of any kind from the others of the board. I was just doing an informal survey of what everyone thought of body art and piecrings. I never expected everyone to agree with each other and that was the good thing, so we could see everyones different opinions. I respect your opinion, even though I don't agree with it.
~Malissa~
So, "tattoo = whore".... hmmmm, I'm guessing that in your desperate attempt to degrade those who don't agree with your opinions about tattoos that you're using the word 'whore' in an attempt at insulting women with tattoos. Coming from a man who uses the services of ladies who are in the business of selling their bodies (yes, 'whores') you demonstrate how very little respect you have for women in this business with or without tattoos if you think that is a derrogatory term. I for one support prostitution and have a great deal of respect for the ladies in the business who have to put up with that kind of narrow minded and incosiderate attitude even if they don't have tattoos!
I've also had jobs in office settings and worked in hospitals and never had any problems with anyone judging me by my skin. I guess I was lucky to have been employed by and worked with people who were intelligent enough to know that ink in a person's skin doesn't make them less intelligent, more prone to crime or less ethical or moral. It simply makes them a person who likes art on their body. They were also intelligent enough not to think that a person has to have a haircut and dress a certain way to be human!!! OMG! Please come down off that big, high pedestal that you've raised yourself up on because anyone who can think so little of their fellow man (or woman) as to think of them as inhuman if they don't meet your standards is less human than those they degrade!!!
By the way, I have two daughters, 18 and 28. My oldest has a few tattoos and loves them... my youngest has no interest in tattoos and whether she does or doesn't choose to get one is her business... and neither are in prostitution... or 'whores' as you choose to refer to it. BOTH are kind, caring and respectful people who care about others and that is what SHOULD matter!
I apologize for the misinterpitation of my meaning fo "whore". I do not consider most of the ladies here whores. To me a whore is a stupid sleazy easy woman. I do not think most fo the women here fall in that catagory.
LOL... you can explain what the word 'whore' means to you ("a stupid sleazy easy woman") it still doesn't change the fact that it's childish and uncalled for name calling.
It's called being predjudice.
Malissa,
Tattoos and all (LOL) clearly you are a person with class. I do understand what coyotefan2 was trying to point out to the rest of us, but like you, I felt like any arugment he might have had went out the window once he started throwing inappropriate words around. The funny thing is I do not have a single tattoo and/or piercing, but many friends and coworkers of mine do. As you mentioned, we're all entitled to our opinions, but one must try to be tactful with their choice of words. That's just the wise and classy way to approach things. That's exactly what you did...I commend you...I read your reply and thought to myself, "this girl is open minded, educated, and nothing less than a class act." THAT is why you have a fan club. ![]()
Love,
Darby
It's odd that a country known for beautiful tattoos (Irezumi), Japan, has a culture which will not accept them. Public baths are very popular, but have signs outside prohibiting anyone with tattoos from entering them. The association remains that women with tattoos are whores & men with them are gangsters. Body art is forever and current laser removal techniques are more painful than the original and much, much more expensive. Tattoos can be so prety but ought to have a longer "waiting-period" than marriages as they tend to last longer ![]()
Just goes to show that narrowmindedness can rear it's ugly head in any culture ;o)
finding the art is such fun .. really enjoy all i have seen.
I Have three tattoos one on each forarm and my name across my fingers on left hand. the ladies who i have seen might know me as i have posted no reviews
I assume you have your name on your fingers because you have trouble remembering it ![]()
you are right. now if i had a dime for every time someone said that i would be a rich man. hey I'm glad we live in a free country were we we can do what we want and be who we want. it would be boring with a whole bunch of clones running around all the same
wow, I never expected such a great debate lol...
I too find that tattoo's are an art form. As an artist I feel that it is another way that I can express myself.
Many people have them, most of the time I am suprised to see a small or large piece of art on someones body that I would of never expected to see, but since I get to see everyone in their birthday suit, I get a good view of some of their secret art work lol.
Thanks for responding, this has been very enlightening!
~Malissa~
I've seen tats that range from looking like a 1st grader did it to the such fine work any artist would appreciate.
When it comes to tats on a lady, I don't mind small out of the way ones (around the ankle), but I really don't care for it in more noticable areas (I almost quite seeing my former ATF because of this).
Then, there's these big f'n honkers gals are getting on their backside, or any kind of tat around their breasts.... No thanks!
Body piercing is same. I don't mind a tastful belly-ring or tounge stud (not really thrilled with this one, even if it's supposed to make oral better), but pierced noses, nipples and other parts of the body... Again, no thanks! And again, I almost quite seeing my former ATF because of this, but she never worn the nose stud again, at least in my presence.
When I'm narrowing down the field to decide which lady to call in a city, I first screen for performance and my preferred body type. Then I screen out tattoos, piercings, and implants. Then I start loosening the screens if no one shows up. If I have to loosen them very much, I wait until I get home.
You mean you're turned off by self-inflicted scars? I read on the National board a few months ago where a poster wrote that he wanted to go into the tatoo removal business in a few years because he felt he would make a fortune. I wouldn't doubt it.
