But I noticed something just now that is very interesting.  I was reading Chicago HotDog's Post when he told of being totally mistreated, but he still refused to name the perpetrator of the "no-show," and carefully read the many posts that followed.  That's when it dawned on me as to just how this Board has totally changed over the past five or so years.  I'm not saying it's better or worse, but here's the basic change:
Around five years ago, when this Board had so many diverse posters, guys  could come on and either contribute or lurk, but they always received solid information--heads-up as to who's new and honest, who's new and dishonest, and other useful HOBBYIST information.  It basically was guys getting legit information about the Hobby, and about individuals, from other guys.  There wasn't a lot of shilling, but there were a lot of posts with good, solid facts about people.
Now, I'll flash-forward to Spring 2010, and let's look at who is posting:  Checking the TER stats titled "Top Posters last 90 Days," we find just three are local Hobbyists, SIX are local Providers and the 10th is the relative newbie, this "Chicago Hotdog" character, who must like to watch himself post, because in the very short time he's been posting on the Phoenix Board, he's contributed the 7th most posts in the past ninety days!
So, here's my conclusion:  It's a new world, and a new ballgame, compared to five or so years ago.  Most Phoenix Hobbyists just don't post anymore, so we're relagated to reading post-after-post from the same Providers expressing their opinions.
I'm not saying this whole scenario is good nor bad, it just is what it is--a lot of "old-time" Phoenix Hobbyists, or as some call them, the "real Phoenix Hobbyists," have simply moved on.
I apologize for the length of this rant, err, I mean the length of this post.
Petrhaps can I elicit at least a couple responses from some male lurkers and/or Hobbyists, and not from the same six Providers?  Thanks.

 Agree strongly. Wish there was more valuable info found on here.....plenty of social networking sites available online elsewhere if that is what one wants to do. IMHO.

Times have changed some of the old timers have left the hobby and some just don’t post anymore.

All we can do is make the best of what we have and hope the providers come back so we can enjoy their post and know they’re still available.

In case you have not noticed it only takes 11 posts to make the top 10 posters list.That shows what a sad state this board is in when no one wants to contribute to it.

If you don't want to see a response from the providers on the board here perhaps  you should turn off your pc and walk away for a while.
Personally I think it's a shame that there are only 6 ladies who even bother to post on this board.

She's fine, Hidden.  Not the best nor most dependable, but honest, legit and pretty skillful and hot, too!  Don't hesitate, and enjoy her.

this board has been the pits for a long time, it was the pits when the shillers were here and yes shillers...they don't post anymore because the agencies are no longer here. It was obvious to many of us..

this board is not only for the hobbyist but it is for the providers...we've gone through this before, if TER did not want us here they would be applying restrictions on us. In fact they encourage us to post, chat and messenger with you fellas.

who cares how many posts we post guys and gals a like.

Hiddenhills, HalfHour, 85003, Nikita, spyguy007, drumsticks, hungry1951 are just a few that post quite often and contribute to the phx board, trying to get dialog started you on the other hand only contribute to a few posts of which I noticed are either complaints or to a visiting provider...you very rarely support the local talent here...

"Chicago Hotdog" as you call him is really "chicagohotdog" and he's a hobbiest as you are and not just a character. he has contributed to the phx board because he is here for a while as he also goes to Vegas and post there as well. I don't see anyone complaining there.

Jeffrey, I don't know why you just can't have fun here rather than be so critical of your home town folks....I know some of us are really fun and fun to be around.

Jeffrey I will agree with you that yes the Phoenix board is not what it used to be BUT
let’s get a few things straight.  You have never liked me and I don’t know why but I assume it is because I am honest, upfront and educated.  Sorry if you don’t like that but I again am going to be honest here.

I too have been around for awhile, in fact, TODAY is my 5 year anniversary in the hobby.  So I too have seen the changes you talk about BUT :

- Yes 5 years ago there was more posters/activity on the Phoenix board
- Yes more information was openly shared
- NO you are wrong…there was a TON of shilling.  In fact, there was the “in” crowd and if you posted and were not part of that crowd then you got slammed.  I was slammed all the time for speaking up and being honest.  Many ladies would thank me for standing up as they were afraid to. AND in one of your responses TODAY you even slammed me….here is the proof:

What did I do to you?  Why must you always slam me?  And you wonder why other providers won’t post….this is an example of why.

2 years ago when the DD bust occurred everyone got scared.  Thus everyone now is concerned about being so open when it is known that LE was attending M & G’s, reading this board and such.

Now a true gentleman, Chicagohotdog, a hobbyist who is new to Phoenix, but is just trying to become a part of this community as he travels a lot & loves to hobby is put down for you by being a gentleman and not slamming a lady publicly.  He is sharing the info via PM. Have you even tried to contact him?  Probably not.

You complain how dead the board is but yet slam those who are trying to breathe life into it.  Instead of your posts only being about slamming/complaining how about you adding some positive posts for a change???

In talking with many ladies who used to contribute to the board have either:
- Moved to another state due to the lack of business
- Are afraid of putting themselves
- Were a part of the bust situation and are now keeping quiet to stay out of trouble
- Don’t want to be slammed or put down due to the past and now current (you have demonstrated that in your post today) history of that happening on the Phoenix board

But as 85003 so nicely put it.  Time to move on.

If it were a CL girl, she would be blasted all over the board. I agree with Jeffrey on this - if a girl no shows, flakes, whatever, she should be outed no matter how well known.  WTF, are there any men with backbones? Afraid of the backlash if you out a popular girl?  Facts are facts. This board would be more interesting if people stopped being so nicey nicey and told what they feel is the truth.

As for drivel being posted - I agree again with Jeffrey. News on the internet, TV, Radio and newspaper isn't really necessary on the board. TER is not the newspaper.

Somebody else agrees with you!  And she's not the only one.  The no call/no show should've and would've been named in the past.  That's just not right - if it had been a hobbyist NC/NS his name would have been smeared all over the provider board.

And I really liked how politely Diana mentioned Misty's useless drivel.  I was going to say something along the lines of (self-moderated) but she did it so much nicer so I'll leave it at that.

The Phoenix board has changed - unfortunately not for the better.  Hell, it's even been mentioned on other boards how lame it has gotten.  But it is what it is.

Thanks for proving my point....if someone posts ANYTHING they end up getting slammed for it. I have so many other ladies tell me this is EXACTLY WHY they don't post or participate in the Phoenix board any more. If you don't like my posts...guess what....you don't have to read them. Misty has been taking pot-shots, both here and in previous threads, regarding her postings of non-hobbyist/provider info.  It's uncalled for.  They are occasional, they reflect her often unique knowledge and her pride as a native Phoenician, and in my opinion they add some local color to augment what is acknowledged to be a now-decreased collection of postings that are otherwise solely tied to various aspects of attaining a non-solo orgasm.  (Or better yet, multiples!  And yes, I am aware that such is the principal purpose here.  However, it need not be the exclusive purpose of every posting.)  I find her anecdotes and opinions interesting, and as a newcomer (only a dozen years here) her historical perspective is often educational.

I suspect that Misty sees this board as a sort of community.  With such a narrow shared purpose among members that may be a stretch, but it's also a stretch when hobbyists happily delude themselves via a fantasy GFE encounter which also begins by following up on info from TER.  No harm is done from either one, and those not interested in Misty's writings need not read them.  Why not look at these posts as you would some nice plants and vases which help decorate the house rather than having it be just stark walls and windows?  Don't worry, it's unlikely that Misty or anyone else is going to end up turning the cum-stained TER server into an online version of The Reader's Digest!

We providers have as much right to post here than the guys...yes maybe that part of TER changed from before I came aboard 5 years ago April but really nothing else has anywhere in the other regional boards (other cities) than Phx...4 yrs or longer Phx was a very much a agency board....  hobbyist were getting kick backs for posting shill ads which were the same as a provider ad except the indies like us are only allowed to post every 7days where as they got about 4 a day every day (it was sickening)
see these shillers would post for a different gal but the same agency and we had about 4 agencies so yes this board has changed

Jeffrey is pissed that this guy did not out the lady publicly but there have been many before this guy that wouldn't either (I personally think they should be outed) I also get pissed when a guy posts about a bad experience but is afraid to post a bad review (that is if it's a well reviewed provider, he doesn't want to get bashed for doing so and that has happened to in the past) bull shit bad providing deserves bad feed back. I don't think you should just leave and not post, this is nothing new here in phx...something got under Jeffrey's skin (which happens every now and then) he is not that way when he posts in Vegas and Vegas has a lot more provider in put than Phx does and I'm not saying anything wrong with Vegas as it's a fun kick ass board no reason Phx can't be that way too!

No offense to any posters on this thread, or the regulars, et al. but...

This board is fucking pathetic.

Before I got into the hobby a few years back, it was THIS BOARD, not the reviews, that helped me learn how to join the hobby properly and safely. How to have a good time, avoid rip-offs, be a gentleman, and watch out for you-know-who. Information was available to all. (I had a different handle back then.) When I asked questions, there were great threads following. I go tons of PM advice. Some from JEFFERY, and others that I still see OCCASIONALLY.(thanks!) I learned early on who the well respected, safe, quality providers were. (I remember when AZTerri first changed her name to Terri Kares!) Had it not been for what I learned here, I would have been part of that provider agency armegeddon that took place. I never have become friends or socialized with any of the hobbyists. But in a way I feel I "know" many, and I am greatful for what the board was

It's not that the folks that are here are differnet. Things change. It's that the board has died. And far too often the few posts that are here are just plain dumb considering the type of board this is.

It's sad. and it is serious.

We need new providers and hobbyists to build a vibrant personality to this board.

We don't need the old days back! We need a new era with greater involvement.

I noted your occasional then increasing BP posts. When you appeared on the board, I was genuinely glad to have another fresh voice around.

It takes a while to clear the tumbleweeds in a ghost town and bring it back to life. Comparing what this was board was capable of in the past, I feel it is worth it.

This board HAS changed and not for the better from what it once was.

I remember the good ole days when a hobbyist could come to this board and there would be several touts (shills some would say) from the fellas who recently had a nice experience with one of the ladies in town. I found that to be most helpful in finding a fun date when I was ready.

I guess one could have taken the time to call up and scan several websites first to see who may be new in town if he had the time, but considering the number of sites that one would have to view and the time it would take, it was much easier to come here, see who was being mentioned and then go track down the rest of the information about her. Some seem to forget that we had a number of prominant agencies in town, each with their own websites, as well as a prominant board for the independent lades.

For the life of me, I still don't understand the concept of a shill (as it is being defined by some) versus someone simply mentioning that they had a fun time with a provider (be it an agency lady or an independent) and how one may go about finding her. It seemed to me that no feathers got ruffled if a positive comment/shill was offered about an independent escort but the poo-poo would fly if a guy mentioned having agood time with an agency lady.

Guess we don't have to worry about that anymore, huh?

This post is so down the page, you may not ever see it, but I wanted to thank you for having a Brother's back.  Yeah, she sure must have a lot of time on her hands--she researched my posts back about FIVE years, and she was dead-on correct with what I said, both then and now.  What I don't get is why she even posted it--first of all, very few people read HER posts now, and, secondly, all her post did was show my honesty and consistency (sp). Go and figure what she's trying to prove, huh?
