But it's quite coincidental that this post comes less than 24 hours after an (unsolicited) venom-filled PM from your playfellow.
After what I've been reading and responding to, I'd say moderation is wise...
...unless the 'intel and insight' you miss are his negative opinions about which providers are 'bitches', 'disgusting', or 'stuffed pigs'.
IMHO, that's the kind of insight and intel this board (and this community) DOESN'T need.
But... that's just MY opinion.

Over the years this board has lost alot of what made it "special" as far as public discourse. "We" had a diverse and eclectic mix and while that often led to fireworks and more then a bit of "abuse" it also created a vibrant on-lin community.
When you look at JEFFERY's overall contributions as a reviewer, contributer and overall member of the hobbying community it makes no sense to keep him muzzled.
At the same time its important to not the Dingus didnt moderate Jeff (If I remember correctly) so it may not be his call on re-enstatement. While I do agree completely that "staff" has very right to run TER however it see's fit I do believe that one thing is true. Politics will change and providers will come and go but hobbiests are hobbiests for "life" a vast majority of the time. In the end guys like JEFFREY but the "bucks in buck rogers" and I think its wise to keep that in mind. Afterall 20% of the hobbiests do spend 80% of the money....in Jeffs case as begrudgingly as possible...but spend it he does.
