ATF implies "one in a lifetime."  I have a different perspective.  For example, two of my ATF's introduced me to the hobby with incomparable tenderness and sensuality, Little Debbie and My Michelle.  Other ATF's have retired or left the business (Vicky) or gone under the radar.  My current ATF's are three (Ciara, Lisa, Roxanne).  They have attributes in common.  Unusual physical, spiritual, and erotic exceptionalism. Define: Not 20 yr old hard bodies but more mature women secure in their feminism, who genuinely love to see me, communicate it often and enjoy our mutual friendship as well as the pleasure and ecstasy we bring to the party.  This is not just the meet and greet and prelude chit chat.  This is true interest in each other's lives. All are multiple orgasmic, real, not fake.  They sense my mood, know how to please me, and communicate how they want to be pleased openly. I dedicate myself to their pleasure as well.  We see each other often, always with joy. Love and sex for all of us is not a destination, not measured in time or money, but a journey.  If the world was different, I would have captured each of these ladies for eternity. They have indicated the same of me.  This is my personal definition of ATF, someone, who if the world permitted I would indeed have as an "All Time Favorite."

That special combination of wit, charm, intellect, personality, looks and physical passion. Hard to put into words that others can understand but you know it immediately when you find her.

See I am glad you asked this, because for everyone it is different.  kind of like "whatever floats your boat" kind of thing.  For me, I like the ladies young.  Not because I do not like older laides, it is just because I can relate to younger women.  I am only in my mid twenties which is not the norm in this industry and hobby.  My ATF would be an encorter with a young girl.  Does not have to be a super model, I actually prefer the more "girl next door" type myself.  The provider would enter in wearing normal clothes, not wearing much makeup if any at all and not wearing any strong perfums.  We would sit and relax and get to know eachother.  It would be nice to see someone who did not watch the clock and when noticed it went over a little bit just said "woops".  I agree with you that communication is key.  It is a nice feeling knowing that your company is relaxed as you and having a good time with you.  That is great.  I would rather a provider be honest with me so I could learn then to fake anything.  What do the rest of you think?

charlottenoble has said it perfectly.  I have be "at this" a long time.  I can think of a handful of people who fit the definition for me.  I'd love to believe that I fit the definition for them, too.

In addition to what charlottenoble said, for me, an ATF is...

Someone who truly looks forward to seeing me as much as I look forward to seeing her.

Someone with presence;  self confident, educated, able to carry on a wonderful two way conversation on different subjects; interesing and interested.

Someone with whom time flies.  We could spend our entire time together just hanging out peacefully, and both enjoy it.  But, the "physical stuff" is relaxed, natural and mutually genuine.

Someone who is happy to let go and enjoy herself at least as much, and maybe more, than I enjoy myself.

In Phoenix, the person I can think of has been in and out of the "biz" for several years.  She was a young -- but mature well beyond her years -- redhead when I first met her.  She is dedicated to learning, going to school, working hard at her day job, trying to learn more and create a real career.  She is (was?) A single mom, with great values and dedication to her son, I was/am happy for her when she met someone with whom she may have made a more permanent life.  And, BTW, every time I saw her I was excited about the prospect of simply spending time together.

Thank you kind sir.  The cynics should frequent brothels.  The adventurers try every newbie in the valley. Then there are those like us, who adore our ATF's as the beautiful ladies they are, and they genuinely return the favor. If I could give them a parting salute it would be "Thank you for coming into my life."

I am with you guys most of the way.  I want a lot myself, but not that much.  Hey if you can find a provider like that, then by all means enjoy.  I just do not think it is a good goal.  I mean it is asking a lot.  lol  Sounds like what you want is a real girlfriend.  Anyways, you have my support and best wished.  Myself, I have to be honest with myself and understand that the provider I see is not my girl friend.  I just hope she is sweet, attractive and "we" have a good time.  That is all.  I hope you find what you are looking for.  =0)

PS  Of course I would not mind finding someone like that too, but there would be a point where I would start to feel uncomfortable.

By the way, I do not think anyone wanting something specail is a sap.  There is nothing wrong with having high expectations and to want something.  I just hope they do not need that something, because that is a lot to ask from a provider.  I still wish them luck and hope for the same things.  =0)
