I am curious what everyone thinks?  100 200 300 400 500 600 700 800 900 1000??? Do you ever see someone that you would like to call and their donation is too high? Unreasonable maybe?  Should we have special rates for good guys that are regular?

1)Donation rate - Not sure if any rate is unreasonable. I might not be able to afford it, but if a lady wants to charge 1000 per hour, it's her prerogative.  
I have my own personal comfort range, but my guess is that it is different for everyone.  
2)Special rate - I love my steak at Mastro's, but never been given a special rate for eating at the establishment (I still eat there often). I also stay at the Four Seasons Troon North often - every once in awhile, I get free upgrade to a suite (so I tend to stay there more often).  If a lady wants to give me a special rate for being a regular, yes I will probably give her more business. If I don't receive any specials, I will still see her. Another words, specials are nice and can be a good business strategy, but not expected.  
Great thing about this is that there is something for everyone. Some of us like blonds, some brunettes. Some of us can afford a dollar menu, some a whole lobster. Some like it rough, some like it sensual. Some like it skinny, some like it large and in charge.

All my regulars have a special rate....it's my gift to them for being good to me They don't expect it but they sure do love it

......how much she charges probably shouldn't really matter.   If she's everything you hope for in a companion I don't see why rate would be a big deal.    What is unreasonable to one might not be to the next......some men don't bat an eye at someone's hourly being 500, 600, 700-1000+ and some men just off of principle (even if he can easily afford it) won't spend over 400 hr no matter how amazing she is.

I think you are very smart Akiya. Sometimes it is not all about what a person can afford, it is a mutual respect and appreciation by both parties. You are very classy!

Very interesting point of view Kiwan. I am confident it is far easier to find a great steak along with good service. I concur that everyone has their own taste or preference however, I appreciate someone being reasonable and not excessive. I also understand if someone wants to charge 1000.00 per hour and the client can easily afford it, some guys may feel like it is unreasonable and call someone else. Thanks for your post...

I couldn't have said it any better, and it's just what I was thinking when I read your well-written post.  Interesting to note also that sometimes as good a time can be had for 200 as for 500, and, occasionally, I have wondered where some ladies get their  pricing ideas, on both ends of the spectrum, both locally and in other cities.

Companions should set rates at what is comfortable for them and allow them to earn what they need and how many guys  to see. Basic economics of supply demand and price sensitivity rule in a free market.  

Thank you Jefferey, I feel the same about the fees providers set for their time. I  feel that the right equation is fair and everyone is happy. If someone sets an arbitrary amount like 1000.00, IMO the provider has elected to set her fee, awaiting someone that will most likely feel like they were gouged in the arrangement. Is there really anyone that pays 1000.00 per hour?

Oh Dave, you may want to rephrase that. I don't think that people, including myself are desperate. I have seen providers for 200 and higher amounts as well. I surely don't think I am desperate. Moreover, I don't think other hobbyist are desperate. Should you say, less fortunate for economic reasons? Or Financially challenged?

there is an entire world of escorting that makes TER look like chump change. Investment bankers working on Wall St. whales who are flown  to Vegas by casinos, Hollywood/LA celebrities  and the list goes on.  Most of these clients and providers do not have a presence on TER.  
 

I think you have to take account where the provider is located at. I think it's difficult for a provider to ask for more than $500 in Arizona if she isn't a well known porn star or model. I have a girlfriend that charges $1000/hr and does incredibly well but she works out of Vegas and LA. In places like Vegas, LA, San Fran and NYC providers can charge higher rates.

I'm very lucky to have the most enjoyable regulars a girl could ask for....that's why I don't mind special rates and/or extra time OTC. I learned early on that I'm not built like an assembly line with strict deadlines. I'll go crazy with that mentality. If I choose to see a client for the 2nd time, that means I liked his company the first time. I will treat him like a friend, not a client. I want to know how your day was/is going, how's work, etc etc......and most importantly, how can I make your day better. It takes TIME to learn these things about eachother, and I don't think this time should take place while the clock is ticking. Unless I really DO have somewhere to be by a certain time, I don't have a problem sticking around a little while longer. Especially since I never see more than one guy a day......usually they have to kick me out! lol!

Everyone's situation is different. Different spending habits, limits, rules. I have a client who won't see a girl that charges LESS than 400/hr. He has a very good explanation for that. I have clients who won't see a girl over 300/hr and they have their reasons. I refuse to pay 5 bucks for deodorant. I can afford it, but that's just stupid to me when I can get the $3 deodorant and it works just fine for me. Everyone has their own reasons for how they budget their money. I don't think less of myself for using $3 deodorant instead of $5 deodorant. Should that $5 deodorant ever go on sale for $4? I might just go for it, just to see what all the fuss is about. It really comes down to how one person has decided to manage their budget and what they are content with. There are so many factors involved and I don't think it's fair to call anyone desperate. Now the guys who constantly review girls with low scores and complain how they got ripped off and are just SO unsatisfied with their choices.....well that's just insane, not desperate....right? They keep doing it over and over, with the same results! I almost (almost) feel sorry for them

I enjoy hobbying weekly. Therefore I can only afford 200 to 250 per hour. And as some of the ladies say they don't do half hours. Neither do I. lol . Sometimes I will have a favorite that will offer overnight for an amount that I can afoord if I skip a week of hobbying. So I will do that. I really enjoy overnights. Anyway, I am not a cheapskate. I could afford 3 or 4 hundred an hour if I only hobbied once a month or every 3 weeks, but thats not what I prefer.

It's generally been my experience that above about the 350 rate it starts to hit a point of diminishing returns - i.e. spending twice as much only gets a slightly (if any) better experience.  As long as you are seeing well reviewed providers and not shooting in the dark off of backpage, there are some mind blowing ladies in Phoenix under 350.  That said there are exceptions to that rule...Danielle being one of them for me.  Well worth her donation fee for me.

To look at the numbers closer under your scenario, by increasing his hourly rate to $300 per hour he would get laid 9 fewer times per year.  This represents a 17% reduction, which r more significant than your numbers suggest.

I'm just going by him giving his monthly maximum being 1000 .... he could afford someone a little higher and hobby 3 times a month vs 4  (which is still better than only roughly twice a month). *shrugs*. Hobbying 3 times a month vs 4 isn't too bad.

I agree with you Dave. 200 per hour is highest I would even consider. I look at it like a bottle of wine. You can go to Total Wine and get an amazing bottle for 20 bucks or less, or you can pay 10 times that for maybe a more complex wine, but the difference in the experience doesn't justify the difference in price.
It's personal choice though. Anyone provider can charge whatever they choose. It comes down to who wants to pay it.

Well, I believe there are some well healed hobbyist on TER. I think 1000 per hour candidates are few and between. Maybe high rollers for a short period of time however, like SPITZER now, would have trouble paying 200 per hour. I reiterate my statement of reasonable being the right equation. I may be able to pay 1000 per hour however, I would feel stupid if I did.

9 less times a year? OMG that would kill me. Remember I said between 2 and 250. So sometimes its 200 sometimes its 250. So now ya would have to redo all the math. But I like it the way it is.

It is really hard to work until you drop, and, not have a special friend to help you re charge yourself to start a new week. It really helps to lighten the load of pressure. After all you only live one time...
