I was hoping to catch up with an old friend this AM (happens to be an indie {and yes a few of them actually like me}). Outside events intervened and thru her day out of whack. We finally caught up (on phone that is) but I had a scheduling problem by then.

I called Danny (I had to drive by the incall anyway) and lucked into a last 2nd appointment with Chelsea. After we were done (a five star session BTW) there are Britt and Lesa Marie sitting and chatting in the incall. Now I've seen both of then and either would have been great as well.

As I was walking out it struck me just how lucky we are to have such a strong agency lineup (Paul, Scott and even Taylor). This isnt ment as a agency over indie or vs. indie comment. Just recognizing that its alot easier to call an agency last minute (literally this was 11am for a noon appointment) then call individual indies looking to luck out.

Obviously shcedules vary and not all your choices are there on the agecny side either. But there I was looking at not only the adorably cute Chelsea (still in birthday suit + towel) but too other remarkably pretty and talented women as well.

Like Forrest Gumps proverbial "Box of Chocolates" you might not know what you get till you bite into one. But then again whens the last time you had a bad piece of chocolate?

For me at least they all looked pretty damm good today...

I think you are the only one that still mentions my name when listing the "reputable" agencies in town.  I really appreciate that, especially since we don't see eye to eye on certain things that keep others for giving me my props!!

Honestly, we've had our "catfights", but you have proven to me that you are someone who will help others even if there isn't anything in it for you. Thanks.

it is easier to make a "last minute" appointment with an agency - dahhhh, they have more women.  

If you call an indie, you just have her while the agency has a pool of women.  So of course you have a better chance.  BUT, don't rule us indies out all together on last minute calls because sometimes you men have to cancel due to a meeting or whatever and suddenly now we have time open.  So before running off to an agency remember there are a few of us independants that can (if timing permits) would love to see you men.

I've always tried to give you the credit your due. Not many can say they actually changed the way business is done. I may not always like you, but you earned my respect long ago...

I tried to make it clear this wasnt a agecny vs. indie thread. Ever since I had the good fortune to run into JK (199??) I've always been not only pro indie...but very pro ATF. She's the one who "Taught" me to see beyond the "product" to the person.

Getting ahold of an indie on very short notice...especially if they've never seen you...is tough. Please dont take this as an "agencies are better" thread its not. Your dealing with a person (me) who had to actually go bang on my ATFs door at 3pm after she blew off a nooner. After she sheepishly opened the door she got a hug and kiss. I told her, now that I know your actually alive I can stop being worried sick about you and get pissed for a bit....BTW....hows noon tomorrow?

just that it is a numbers game.  And obviously the odds are better with agencies last minute vs an indie because they have more ladies.  

Sorry to hear abut your ATF doing that but remember it works both ways...sometimes you men cancel and/or no show on us.
