Quick Question
Is it okay to use an agency as a reference for an independent? I currently moved to Phoenix from Denver, and the independents always had trouble verifying me through an agency. I have been wanting to see a few ladies, but they all need references.

It really just depends on the agency or independent you are trying to use as a reference or get verified through.  Since it is not really a tried and true system, some will give better references than others and some dont like taking references from certain others that have provided bad references in the past.  It really all comes down to who that person or agency trusts taking the reference from.  Some people just keep better mental records and give much better references than others.  Also, with some agencies, without actually keeping written records, and having several different people answering phones, it can be tough to get a reference on someone that that phone op may not have spoken to previously.  Really just depends on whos answering the call at the time.

TigMan we verify our clients for any reputable provider independent or agency.  Most of the independenst and agencies are happy to provide references in the Valley.  You should have no problem.

It's usually not a problem to verify with an out of state agency to me.  So far I've never had any troubles.
