it was real big in south Florida in the early 2000s
we did scenes on the beach ,hotel balcony's , inter coastal water way docks,
and night clubs all the time
i guess they are just starting to catch on here
one of the coolest i did was on top of the freedom tower in Miami mid day lol

but this isnt south Florida
so it may raise a few more alarms here.
I did one scene on the beach on Biscayne bay and there was at least 30 boats watching lol

Your site and other local sites like it are done so tastefully, I would hardly call it porn...

...it's more like public, living erotic art. It should be applauded and encouraged. When I'm out and about in the Valley, I always have my eyes peeled, hoping that I'll run into a shoot in progress. I've recognized some of the spots where these shoots have occurred.
BTW...Mia Garcia is pretty HOT! She looks a little familiar....hmmmm....isn't she a former FTV Girl? It seems like public nudity has been good for her career!    

I don't have a problem with public nudity with limitations. As an adult I am not bothered by it. As a parent I would be bothered to come across it if out in public with my kids. Especially in a few of the places the Fox article lists. If I was walking down the isle in a grocery store with my family I would not at all be ok happening across it. If consideration is made for this and potential exposure to minors avoided then I am not going to complain.

There was a showing at the Corcoran Gallery of Art years ago in D.C. of nude art. At the time, it was very controversial. Times change. But there is a constant. Choice.

If I go to Target or some other public venue, I probably want the choice to know what is on display. Going to an art gallery that advertises nude art is one thing - but putting it on the street is another.

I am an art fan. If a place provides permission, I say, ok. I mean, if they are comfortable with being known as a place that MAY have nude scenes (albeit live), cool. At this point, I would not want someone coming into my place of business and being nude. I have been in public with someone before (a few times) and they were very isolated places with no traffic at all. And as an art major, I painted nudes in class.

I think it is more a matter of respect. Ask the place of business. Indecent exposure is still frowned upon. For a variety of reasons. Just give me the choice.

I looked up some of the venues where this is occuring and some other sites. Cars drive by (in some of the videos I watched) and yes, they could have kids in them. Or people unaware of what is going on. I don't think the film companies gave much thought in those scenes (one was in Glendale on a public street).

Respect each individual who may see and the business it is being done near. That's all I am saying. As for people saying they are not offended by it, my guess is some would say they are not, but may not visit that business again.

Let's go extreme. In the future, given we become insensitive over time to so many things (reality tv, public nudity), at any point is it ok for a person to relieve themselves in the entrance area to a persons home? It is public. Some might not find that offensive in the future (go back 30 years and reality tv as it is today would be banned).

Do we draw any lines? Should we get conditioned to things like public sex in a store? Is it artisitc expression? Again, measures of respect. Give me the choice. Respect the places it is being done.

Maybe I am getting old. I don't like the conditioning that has gone on in television and public of things I would consider "class-less". Give me old school charm and class anyday.
