I just don't understand the posting problems on this site.  When I post a message, it takes from 36 to 48 hours to show on the board, and often it's placed at the bottom of the first page or the top of the second.  Why does it take so long to get a post displayed.

I stopped posting on TER in the past because of these problems.  With the new format, thought I give it a try and found the site to still be inefficient.

It is called moderation. All the boards are run by a Moderator. New posters have all of their posts reviewed before they go to the board. It genereally takes about 24 hours.
