I have never been to Arizona, Where are the best places to go?

Some starters within Phoenix area (no particular order):
* Desert Botanical Gardens
* Baseball Spring Training Game if during March
* Tovrea Castle
* Hiking (One of many trails in City.  Camelback, South Mountain, McDowell Mountains, etc)
     - Climb Piestewa Peak or Camelback Mountain
* Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West
* Drive Apache Trail (about 25 miles from DT Phoenix)
* Old town Scottsdale and Shop at Scottsdale Fashion Square
* Biltmore resort

...here's an interesting Bucket List of things to do and see in Phoenix. I'll also use it as a guide:

My favorites are Casa Grande "The Big House" in Casa Grande and Montezuma's Castle in Verde Valley. But also have Pueblo Grande right by the airport here in town.

But there many unique sites throughout Arizona.

...Montezuma's Well I think it's called on the way up to Sedona.

he Desert Botanical Gardens has a nice bonus to it right now too in that they have the Dale Chihuly exhibit going still for the next couple months.  The glass looks great mixed in.
