I'm just curious as I read (yes, I can read...sometimes) an article on AZ Central titled.

"Arizona gets an 'F' for financial prosperity"

Here are the 1st two senetences....

"If it seems like you're struggling to make ends meet, it's probably not your imagination.

Arizonans are having a harder time achieving financial success than Americans generally, according to a new report that grades the state with an "F" for financial prosperity."

Further below that, I read another article how the cost of oil hits a new all time high of $80 per barrel.  

Everyone of course knows that the housing market is taking a severe beating coupled with failing mortgage companies as people are struggling to make their mtg payments.

For me, I used to hobby (I don't write reviews) once a week, then I had to scale it back to once a month and within the last year I have had to scale it back to once every 3 or 4 months and as the economy slides so does my disposable income which I will probably only be able to hobby on rare occasions.

I am curious how things are affecting other hobbyists spending activities excluding the guys who have more money than they know what to do with.  I am also curious if providers have seen a shift in their appts as well.

I am thinking the slow nature of hobbying altogether really can not be blamed on the hot temperatures completely.

This isn't a post asking providers to justify their rates or hobbyist to bash provider rates. It is just a curious question in general as far as spending actvities and if the phones are ringing for the providers or do they have to travel more.
