There is this gal that I have been seeing a lot for the last three years or so. I have  helped her out of numerous jams during this time.
So about a week ago, she texts and asks if I can come see her today as she needs some help. She is having problems dealing with the front desk of the hotel she is staying at. As I usually do when she needs help, I come to the rescue.
When I arrived, her two male live-in roommates let me in the door as she was in the bathroom. After a while the two of them left. I sat and waited and waited. Finally she comes out surprised to see me sitting there. She explained the situation and I handed her the money up front, trusting her since I have known her for a while. She heads to the front desk and is gone for a while so I text her to see if everything is okay. Her reply indicated it wasn’t going so well.
She comes back to the room and says that the one fee is paid but now she needs money for the day’s rent. Since I had given her all the money I had with me, I had to head to the bank for more.
When I returned, I handed her the additional money and she went to the front desk with it. Her two male live-in roommates came back and we sat and talked for a while.
Eventually she came back and headed straight for the bathroom and shut the door. I am thinking she is getting herself ready. Her two male live-in roommates grab a few of their things and leave. I sit and wait and sit and wait.
After a while, there is a knock at the door. I look out the peep hole and see a woman who does not look like the hotel staff. I go to the bathroom door and knock on it asking her through the door if she is expecting some female company. She answers “sorta” and comes out of the bathroom, opens the door to let the woman in the room and promptly walks out. The woman looks at me in disbelief and asks “Where is she going?” I answered that I did not know. The woman follows her out the door.
The two male live-in roommates come back in and sit down and we talk some more. They asked where she went but again, I do not know. So we sat and talked and we sat and talked. Eventually we all get the idea that she is not coming back anytime soon and it is getting to be dinner time and I am getting hungry so I text her to say I will be leaving and then say “bye”.  
Ten minutes later she texts to inform me that that was a three hour appointment that I just had.
WTF??
I was not in the same room with her for even 30 minutes total and not all at the same time. I spent more time with her two male live-in roommates.
What will you do when she does this to you

I guess the problem started when you offered the bailout. Seems like that relationship is burnt for good.

She won't do it to me because I would not cross into the "Forbidden Zone".

I'm sorry that this happened to you!  I have heard A LOT of similar stories in the past few weeks - the conclusion that I've come to is - there is a bunch of desperation going on right now, as it's summer, & slow.

As far as I know, they just hang out and let her pay for the room so they have somewhere to live. If they would be not called "room mates", what else would they be called?

I don't mind a provider that I have seen a few times call me and ask if I could see them today/tonight, I am sometimes in the mood and everything works out.  If the providers starts calling you every week or two looking for help, that is way too much and time to back off for awhile and maybe just see her occasionally on your terms.

Damn Studley - sounds like you have been very patient during your relationship with her.  I think most gents would have bailed after the first time they encountered the "roommates" & NEVER looked back.  

There have been numerous times that she has called and ask that I see her and when I meet with her, it turns out that she does not even have a room. Her method for getting a room is very slow and often takes up to four hours. Apparently she remembers all the time I have spent with her for which she received no compensation and decided that this was the time she would get paid.  I should not have to pay for time that I have spent helping her to get a room, drive her to the store to go shopping etc.

The moral of the story is to be careful and not too trusting, but her name is Danni.

Do tell us all who she is so us other johns don't get burnt. If you are not willing to out her it is not a "scam warning" it is a sob story.

I never understood the TER# thing, not sure of her number, have to check on that or you can tell me how to find it.

You should be more clear who you are referring to so you do not unfairly impact the business of an otherwise reputable provider.  This is how these ladies put food on the table and pay their bills.

You need to get over your Night in Shining Armor complex.  Women don't appreciate you any more (in fact, it's quite the opposite), and you're just out time and money.  I've been guilty of doing it myself.  In fact, I recently got out of a very long term relationship in which I did all kinds of things for my ex.  When we split up, she treated me like I was evil incarnate.

If you read all of the thread, I have made it more specific when I answered another person. Her Name is Danni, with two N's, 45 years old and TER#203136.

Flakey.  Likes the casinos. I didn't review because the session never happened.  Got a sob story from her as we were going back to the hotel.  I told her I would drop her off.  She then said she actually didn't have the hotel room. I said ok, turned around and dropped her back at the casino. Never looked back.

I did read the entire thread.  When I posted my comment, your post had not been updated yet.  It seems that often times there is a lag, especially at night.

This is a business transaction. Never would I have an appointment when a lady ask its my time and my money. Stop being foolish. Had a lady text me once "hey babe I am in your area want me to come over?"My answer was "No I chooser when and who I see please delete my number"period! For you to said this was a scam NO it was you being an idiot period.

You said in an earlier post on this thread before you knew her name that you would not have fallen for this ploy.

This is not a scam warning ...... sounds a lot more like a sob story (at best) or admitting to being stupid (at worse).

The exact same thing happened to me.  Could not get a review accepted because NOTHING happened.  Picked her up at a Casino... no hotel room, but for the money, she could get one. Wait, damn hotels.com, they took her money, but the local hotel refused to book because they knew her.  Result?  Would have paid $200 for her hotel for the next guy.  Left, and never looked back.

I see a guy who is in total denial. You might want to get some help.

You saw her so you can review her. Add this story to her other reviews so people know about her long after this thread falls off the page. If you don't review her your not ready warning anyone your just complaining about her on the board.
