several apartments...several girls too...It was an agency...owner was interviewing a undercover at a Burger King. Computer and cash taken. This was a 6month investigation said they were going after some of the customers.
Yes it was on all the TV stations. Eugene Lau a 68 year old man had 7 apartments - 3 in Tempe area others in Scottsdale and had 5 girls working for him. No mug shots up yet but got busted trying to hire an undercover cop to work for him. Busted at Mill/Southern at Burger King.
It used to be owned by a lady and was around for years and it was called TOPS. I worked for tops when I first came to Phoenix(as I was not aware of how indys worked).
Some things you should know.......they had been targeted for the "operation house call" two and a half years ago but apparantly nobody was in the apartment that LE visited. I had already left them by that point so the details I have are sketchy.
Just so everyone relaxes....they don't nor ever had a web site. Most of their advertising was done in the newspapers. They also were active on Tmans post.
They kept several apartments and it was once a good agency but the quality of the girls went way down(druggies or ladies with lots of mileage that looked like they should be on the street) and they never checked references of the guys. All a guy had to do was say he saw their ad in the paper and sound nice and they would send him to a lady. I left because I had been hurt by a client, and at that point another guy(now in jail) who was choking providers was loose in the valley. I just didn't feel safe there. So I took about 3 months off then went indy.
As for the oriental guy, I saw him on the news but it didn't dawn on me until I heard it was CSR. That old oriental guy was the "boyfriend" of a girl who worked there and back then she used the name Tiana. He would always drive her everywhere. Maybe he took over the agency?
To help the guys relax even more.........I don't believe they ever kept records(unless it is a recent thing). I had many altercations with them because they would ask a guy on his first visit to choose a number which would id them if they called back. Would they keep records of the numbers-no. And that was how some shady characters bypassed it.
It's a shame because at one point it really was a nice agency with some nice girls.
Another heads up-what would draw attention to the apts(occasionally they were forced to move because neighbors found out) was guys talking to the girls from the outside or from knocking on the door. So ladies, it may be wise to leave your door cracked or open it as you see him coming because, although innocent, knocking draws attention. And guys, be quiet until you're behind closed doors.....there's plenty of noise to be made once inside.

After talking with the owner of CSR, they have charged him with running an agency & Laundering money. They still however need to prove what he was doing in a court of law. The charges have to be proven. He assures me that no records of clients or emails were in the computers. So many people speculate when they don't know the facts. I just spoke with him & a few of the providers & they are all out with the exception of one lady that had prior convictions. Thanks for listening.
