Phoenix has "resort" pricing. It's really on a par with Las Vegas. That being said a number of Indies & agencies offer some type of "VIP" or "local discount" to help out a bit. You'll find specials here as well...but all in all it is an expensive place to play.

I'm in the minority here. Life is way to short. When you find someone you want to spend some time with go for it. Whether it be $50 to who knows what per hour. I'm not about quantity, but about quality.

It's all relative. Originally being form New York - with stops in Miami and London - Phoenix seems cheap relative to the quality....

Personally, I prefer the quality, but as with most things in life there's always a cheap version of something around.

When I lived in Columbus, Ohio; I used to cringe at anything over $150.  They were very beautiful, but nothing like I've seen here.  I think I've been extremely lucky in Phoenix so far.  I owe that all to Julie at this point.

Phx used to be reasonable about 2 years ago. $$$1/2 seems to be the average donation here. Nothing against the indies or agencies that request that rate but there are many ladies here in the valley that are available below that rate.  Just have to do some searching.  I would guess that the business hobbyist that fly in don't mind the price.  Based on reviews, service and looks, there are possbly about a 5-7 ladies who can possibly justify that rate otherwise you can wait for specials.  Sorry ladies, not trying to demean anyone but there is a lot of competition around.

You can't figure this one out ?  Because all the guys are WILLING to pay these prices !  We have alot rich hobbists here.  Money means nothing to them.

And this is a complicated market with a variety of dynamics at work...you cant fault a gal for charging what the market will bear. You also dont have to play...participation IS voluntary.

I dont know many poor hobbiests....

Now, we also have a dynamic growing market with constantly increasing options. How many wonderful Gals have been added in just the last 6 months? Competition brings opportunity for all...you need to respect the gals right to be business women while setting reasonable limits based on your own wants and "pain threshhold". Dont cross your line and let them set theirs. That way you'll never resent them and they'll always respect you....

there are several reasons for the current prices,
It all seemed to start climbing in 2001 around Dec. At the party then it was noted alot of girls were going indie and charging the 350 rate that was the ongoing agency rate back then.
We didnt think it was sustainable with the changes in the stockmarket and what not but it appears to have stayed at that rate.
Im not arguing the merits or lack thereof but that is when the current market rate seems to have been set. I even remember the first person to charge 350 as the usual rate....soon to be followed by most of the phoenix411 crowd

The cheerleaders for the ladies on this board not withstanding it can be done. You can find a personable companion for the hour for under 350. There are many many many more than 75 ladies working locally do some home work and you will be surprised.
Find one that works at the price point you want and go from there.
It may involve taking one for the team but when you find that hidden gem, be sure to share it with the back channels and dont post her info anywhere that the public can frequent.
