Screw the Constitution and rights of Americans.

What happened to the ad board?

See my and other posts in the legal section - new law passed yesterday.

Screw the Constitution and rights of Americans.

Wondering the same thing...

Everyone just needs to start picking up girls in person.

Consider the increased risk of running into undercover LE and being kicked out/banned from a place of business if you proposition the wrong lady.

It is easier dealing with providers in person.  If they are the right age and look you are going for they are not able to hide behind fake pictures.  I would never "proposition" any girl in public merely ask them to come back to my place to hang out.  Whenever a girl at the gas station or wherever asks for money I just say I might have some back home but I only take a debit card when I am doing errands.

Once they go to a second location and you are safe without being tailed by helicopters or other roving vehicle surveillance (sometimes up to four or more cars with the FBI) you can be assured they are not LE.

Never ask if someone is a police officer out on the street as it is a serious crime (15 days in jail for the first offense).  Never ask for someone to be topless or to do a pat down in public or in a vehicle also.

Move them to a secure location, which is the only and best way to tell.

where is the best place to look for ads now?

Lots of escorts on twitter, slixa and also check out the TER daily new reviews.

I definitely think this will end up being a win for hobbyists.  Reviews still here but ads not here.  Prices will drop because providers will not be able to pull in new customers and have to take whoever they can get.  Specials will become more prevalent.  Providers will need to get a base of reviews in order to be accepted and no longer can they post hot pics to make newbees salivate even though they are going to be getting a bad deal.

They will have to act friendlier and not have the luxury of turning away clients any longer.

Viva la FOSTA!

I realize that you are by nature a contrarian, however there really is no positive spin on this one.  This is a fuckshow no matter how you look at it.

Sounds like a predator’s wet dream.

So you mean the luxury of turning away somebody who could possibly be the next Gary Ridgway/Green River killer?

“I picked pr0stitutes as my victims because I hate most of them and I did not want to pay them for s3x," Ridgway said in his confessional statement. "I also picked pr0stitutes as victims because they were easy to pick up without being noticed. I knew they would not be reported missing right away and might never be reported missing."

Normally I just ignore or take with grain salt the words that come out Gypsypooner mouth. But here I think time to comment a little.

This is big loss for hobbyists. Prices will not go down, they will go up. If there are fewer places to find to advertise, then the cost of advertise goes up. If the cost of advertise goes up, then the cost of whats being advertised goes up. Watch how fast those sites that allow buy ads mark up the price of ads, if they decide to stay in business.

If there is a lack of normal way to get references from well reviewed providers, then screening that happen before the days of references of known providers comes back. That means unless ( using me as an example ), if I don't know your references, your personal information is going to be necessary.

Finally if you raise the bar or level of what it takes to get in this business as independent, you will start to lower the number of providers that get in the biz and or stay in the biz. So for those providers who have no choice, you may have to dealing with their more knowledgable pimp in future. For those providers who cant figure it out, you will never get to deal with them as they will never get in or stay in.

I don't think the pass of the law will make any of the hobbyists any less horny, but makes finding suitable outlet for their needs harder to find.

Personal information should never be given.  A sting has been taking place asking for name, age, etc. face pics which was reported on another board.

Never give personal info to a provider in any circumstance.  Better to just not see anyone who requires such terrible information.  Most providers in person at the bus stop, on the street will happily accept a ride.  No discussion of service or rates until both of you leave the immediate area and make sure you are not being tailed.

Anything that make ads higher in price is good.  The less ads, the less demand for providers because ads mainly attract the professional types with good jobs (i.e. too much discretionary income).  In a way, demand reduction is good because it targets professional hard working people who cannot devote their life study to countersurveillance and other tradecraft techniques.  Those office workers are driving up rates due to their high salaries and it is just as well that only low income people can afford to poon due to taking the time it takes to study proper tradecraft and protocols and/or travel extensively internationally.

Now, they will likely be in worse shape.
Sorry ladies. And ignore the opportunist arseholes who will try to take advantage of your difficult situation.
Much love and respect.

This law does nothing but put our lives and freedom in danger and pushes the real victims even further underground. This is not my only source of income but others aren’t so fortunate.

One thing for sure they are not going to be able to charge $300 plus dollars anymore.   If they lower their rates to under $100 they will be fine probably and enough customers out on the street for everyone to make a decent living.

We aren’t hurting anyone and I’m definitely not being trafficked nor is anyone else I know.  I hope to continue to meet new friends.  Maybe it’s time for some private parties 😉

I'm sure we'll all find a way out of or through this. People on other boards are saying since it violates free speech and it'll get challenged and held up in court. Hopefully that means it'll die a miserable death, but we'll see.

They did and published a letter back in September. The ACLU is not all powerful.

Yes probably will be court challenges but that will take years to resolve while arrests can be made unless injunction obtained which is very unlikely.

Now we have the additional Cloud Act in the budget bill just signed that allows internal and foreign law enforcement access to user data stored online without a search warrant or probable cause.

Further, the bill recognizes foreign law enforcement and allows the US President to sign data-sharing agreements with other countries without congressional oversight.

P411 illustrates visitors  profiles with links from there to TER reviews. Not sure if websites operated outside the US are on the radar right now, but that’s still working

In my experience, both in  Phoenix and nationally, the ACLU has not been much interested in sexwork cases unless it has a discrimination aspect.

In Phoneix, I met with their very sharp attorney who did a good job with the "Walking while Trans" case. Although it was a bad case to defend (she admitted approaching the officer in the parking lot and that he was cute), but got off by a good fight on appeal etc by the ACLU attorney - a nice friendly guy in my discussions with him.

However, they had no interest in the Phoenix Goddess Temple case which in my view had a much stronger defense if it was presented right vs leader trying to be her own attorney with her ranting sermons.  Sadly now in prison and 38 wonderful women took a plea for mostly felonies that will always be a hindrance to jobs etc..

In the zillions of felony cases, I follow over the years have never seen them involved or with any Amicus Briefs at trials or appeals.

The attorney's at the 9th Circuit case was also very good with great briefs in my view.  Sadly we lost which probably puts an end to any legal challenge at least directly to the prostitution law for many years.

I heard the ACLU got a cool $500 cash for every illegal immigrant stopped.
