My last poll elicited a lot of "I'm not going there" responses from the ladies, but nonetheless, the post from sedonaw (under "Did you ever meet...") brought up a fun new question.

What is the most unusual or quirky situation this business/hobby has ever placed you in?  This is for the guys and the gals.  I realize some of us will be unable to answer, because theirs may involve participants on this board, but I'm sure there are enough others to go around.  Please, tell stories out of school!

Well, since you started this thread based on the post from Sedona it's only fitting that my most unusual experience in this hobby involved her.

The first time I met Sedona (and I've seen her many times since) she was staying in an upscale hotel here in Tucson.  Imagine my suprise when I show up at the hotel for our meeting and the parking lot is FILLED with police cars, sherrif cars, etc.  I'm obviously a little concerned at this point but decide to go inside and proceed with caution...

Turns out that the hotel was hosting some sort of LE convention (who knew).  Sedona and I were naturally a little cautious at first but had a good laugh later.

I'm sure glad I kept that appointment though, cause I was able to meet a super lady!
