Man shot & killed at strip club in Phoenix

If you needed another reason to see our lovely independent ladies here is a very sad story:

A man shot multiple times in a parking lot of a central Phoenix strip club early Wednesday morning has died, Phoenix police said.

A police spokesman said 38-year-old Mack Curtis Hill was shot by another man at about 1:30 a.m. outside Cheeta's Strip Club near Seventh Street and Indian School Road. The shooter then ran away.

Police said they did not have a description of the man and that people at the scene of the shooting were not being cooperative.  They also said they had no motive for the shooting, but were continuing the investigation.

There's been at least 5 shootings at local strip clubs this year I mean this is getting outta hand. Luckily the 2 clubs I go to haven't been involved but also when I go it's usually with friends so the old saying of "safety in numbers" still hold true. Also I grew up in a bad area so I've always had that sense of something bad in the air and can leave before trouble starts, I'm sure many on this board know what I mean by that. But I guess it's not just strip clubs it's everywhere nowadays. Be alert and be aware of your surroundings people!!!

I used to vist the clubs as well, and I once had an interesting conversation with a more "mature" stripper.  She brought up the subject of how the customers change in character as the night goes on-- "from 6 or 7 oclock it's the married businessmen-- then they leave to go home to their wives and kids. After 10 or 11 pm the horny single guys leave.  After midnight mostly the drug dealers come in and it's not good".  Kinda gives support to the old cops cliche:  "Nothing good happens after midnight".....
