I have always dated beautiful women.  Today I'm waxing nostalgic for the glory days of the '70's. Civvie life was sometimes hit or miss, but usually more successes than failures.  Time was never an issue and condoms rare.  All nighters were a thrill. Multiple cups were normal and expected.  Romance, pursuit, conquest, sharing were genuine, even if only for a one night stand. I miss it all. Yet, at my age, and in this time civvie life is impossible.

The hobby has limitless beautiful and talented women, and more than any man could possibly enjoy.  More fantastic recruits each month. Regulars soften the loss. Yet, somehow each date follows a predictable script. I think it's time to take a sabbatical.  Mind you, not give it up, but regroup and re-think.

As my sainted Mother said to me, "growing old is not for sissys."
