Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. I know you have been doing your best for many years in the industry.
I know many companions with decades of experience that while having some bad clients never been raped or robbed. Don't know what is in the secret sauce that they must have or most likely just bad luck.
Long ago you posted that you prefer text. Some companions I know insist on a phone call at least for first meeting feeling they can get a good or bad vibe by how he speaks, whether sounds like a jerk or someone they would like to meet. My fingers are too big on those tiny text screens and seldom use cell but would always leave a voicemail which can be more convenient for companions than being interrupted while doing dinner, chasing after a child etc. Or I often use e-mail which can be answered when to have time but doesn't get to hear the guys interaction on the phone.
If my daughter wanted to be a companion my only issue would be safety. I view the potential of sexwork to be a healing profession more than just sex. But like the Phx Temple which was more "healing" for some than sex, it is illegal.
A large part of the problem, of course, is the legal status vs the legalness following a harm reduction model such as in Canada and much of the world with no fear going to the police etc.
I like the new agency Unicorn Healers owner Jasmine wrote:
Unicorn Healers does not simply cater to the men. Our mission, our goal, and our most cherished hope is to add value to the World at large. We think that our sexuality, our intimacy, our fetishes, kinks or simply our preferences should be celebrated and encouraged and not sources of shame or hidden in the depths of our hearts and minds.
Unfortunately, they are in Montreal, not Phoenix where they can be legal following the harm reduction model of Canada vs repressive laws in the U.S
