But, actually, I wish they would forget entirely about what goes on between consenting adults, and focus instead on the crimes we can all agree are more important.  For example, if your car gets stolen tonight, the odds of your seeing it again are about the same as the sun failing to rise in the morning.  This is because cops are wasting time on tracking down women who are hurting exactly NO ONE, or the men who are fortunate enough to have the privilege of spending time with them.  They're also engaged in a War on Drugs that they have exactly zero chance of winning.

LE needs to be more concerned with catching rapists, murderers, kidnappers, robbers, and identity thieves, and much less worried about what we are all doing when no one, as far as I know, is being hurt at all by what we do.  (So long as we're discussing consenting adults... the "forced" issue is an entirely different thing.)

Anyway, one Hobbyist's humble opinion.  I'm sure there are many who will disagree, and I invite constructive criticism.
