I'm always late to the game but what a drama thread that was.  I think the whole entire thread shoud be deleted It doesn't belong on the board. I can see Hacker trying to be a nice guy but the email to Megan, sensing a long history of hostility between the two of you, was probably not a good thing which Hacker admits.  Megan's email reply back to Hacker should have been enough and the end of it there. I am not in defense of Hacker but the post does seem to shed some sort of bad light on Hacker's motives and to probably further more create more hostility against him.  Basically what I am saying is that there are 2 wrongs here. Hacker being wrong for emailing Megan knowing their track record and the other wrong on Megan's part for exposing it all for everyone's eyes.  Discretion is always most obliged in the hobby world and none of it was used either way on each other's behalf.
So, my remedy for Hacker and Megan is that you two get together and have some hard core angry sex to get it all worked out.  I'll offer a donation and call for a collection to make it happen.....what a review that would be!

Hacker, in terms of Software Engineering, is not something to be proud of; just like here, he needs to be embarassed and go away. Knowing that he is shameless, we have to ignore him till Dingus gets the nerve to ban his ass.

With all due respect, Hacker was commenting about a somewhat new talent in our community and you diverted attention away from the theme and the lady. Perhaps, your comments would have been better placed in the thread below.

Getting back to the subject of the initial post, I have had the opportunity to meet this stunning and talented lady myself just recently and had a marvelous time. Review forthcoming.

Obviously there are "bigger issues" here somewhere. My email was genuine and well ment, there are lots of personalities here and backchannel 411 is common. Most tiffs are settled and the world moves on, obviously Megan holds a grudgew from "summer of 2004" {think that was the timeframe}....hell my 1st review is Aug 2004 and this nomiker didnt exist till I got here so I'm honestly clueless. It's also obvious that this is in someway a part of a bigger tiff with a "group" that hasnt existed for close to two years. There are numerous such groups past and present on both sides....they have very little impact on anything.
Yet somehow she blames her lack of business on both me and this group (which I was a very insignificant member of). It's always easier to blame someone else for your problems I guess.

Megan is the one who chose to air an insignificant email out in public as a major issue. To me this is the real issue here since this isnt the 1st time she's done this....got help the poor guy who tweaks her if she has any real info to use...

You give her credit for trying, in the last sentance, but then you negate that now by pointing out she fails at those attempts, and then add the insult that she is failing at something that is relatively easy, and to top it off failing at something easy she has a background in but fails to use.


I can see your point you are the very picture of a helpful guy just offering support and kindness, how she could have read that as anything is just crazy thoughts.  Why she would see you as a full of yourself guy that is certain he has more knowledge of how a lady should run her business, (though I will note you have repeatedly on the boards mentioned how much you know from your "personal" experience to run the business of a independant provider..more experience than two ladies put together even...)

OK, see, I read the email thread, and yes she said you sent her an email, but until you paraphrased it she didn't post the actual contents.  I did notice however you making special effort to point out how much you knew about her business, how she got clients, who paid for her ads, her financial position, and such...only one that seems to need to prove what all they know about other people is you...maybe G-d needs to help the ladies that tweak you if you have any real info to use...

And yes there are better ways and if she'd of asked I'd of pointed out a number of stratagies that successful gals use.

Her comment was on running an escort business, which in the end is a professional service business. An area in which I am a recognized expert. I've built 3 seperate entities into 10 million $ corporations from scratch...so I know business reasonably well.

As for my last comment the guy she burned was Jack. The same guy who gave her business she was "grateful" for and who paid for her 411 account....some way of saying thanks.

I actually do know a fair amount about alot that goes on. Leaving the issue with Northdak aside (which was wrong) please highlight any time I've broached "private info" publically.

Again your making a big deal out of a simple email, which by the way is "business correct". In fact I just {within the month} sent a similiar "this is nine of my business" email to the CEO of a 272 million dollar firm...his COO called to hammer me and we talked for an hour...and he hired me at $2500/day for two days as a consultant to discuss my views with key staff....this is simply how business gets done in America.

The truth is I'm a tired of all you souls who think you have a clue about how the world works or what is good fair or right. The world and apparently this board have become so "PC" that any  truth or value simply gets lost in all the BS....

Without the guys who actually take time to comment and write reviews this whole engine just stops. Meanwhile a whole subset of folks like you finds  fault in even the best intended actions.....
