PHOENIX -- Police said they found an escort service, guns and drugs at a central Phoenix business complex where young children were also living.
Police were initially called to the complex last Tuesday for a domestic violence incident. Investigators said Joshua Sparkman kicked out a woman's windshield.
They said after Sparkman and his friend Kenneth McCune showed them bogus identification, they began investigating.
Sparkman owns Sweet Addiction, which police said he admitted was an escort business.
Sparkman also lived right across the complex's courtyard, in another office unit.
When police searched the business and living quarters, they say they found guns and evidence of methamphetamine and cocaine for sale.
Investigators said an assault rifle was on the floor with a child's jacket on top of it.
"Really shocked. Definitely. I just didn't think anything like that was going on," said Marc Anthony, who runs a nearby business.
Other nearby tenants, who did not want to be identified, said they knew "something shady" was going on. They came to that conclusion after finding a business card for Sweet Addiction that read "our unique wild girls will fulfill your naughty dreams."
"It's incredibly shocking and scary. You don't realize something like that is right around the corner," said Anthony.
Sparkman was arrested on charges of forgery, identity theft, criminal damage and endangerment. McCune faces charges of forgery and identity theft.
Police said there could be more arrests, as well as additional charges of child endangerment. It was unclear whether there would be any charges related to the escort business.
I guess the Sheika was left-out of the loop this time.
Weapons under a child's jacket, drug residue coupled with the violence and destruction is definitely the mark of someone who doesn't belong in this community. These low-lifes tarnish everyone.
If you-or someone-provide me with a little more information (you mentioned something about proof) I will be greatly appreciative.
nobody is leaving you out of the loop darling. thats just crazy talk.
they werent online.. they were just a print ad, skin mag, yellow pages, flyers, brochures, biz cards on the car windshields of the club parking lots.... cash and dash, bait and switch type of agency.
(my speculation.... deduced from a google search that comes up with nothing except a yellow pages listing, and the biz cards they had printed up sound like the type used to pepper the club parking lots)
phoenix has still got a million of these agencies.
well maybe just about 10-20 of them with a million different names YO. LOL
