Part 2:

In one form or another, all men pay for the sexual relations they have.  It may be in the form of countless dollars spent on “dating,” making promises they never intend to keep, and romancing a woman in various ways, all of which put the male to some expense, and none of which guarantee the man will find the satisfaction and release he is seeking.  The woman is then the victim of the lies the men tell in order to achieve the desired result, and these necessary lies are a part of the reason that the divorce rate in this country is higher than it has been at any time in the last 200 years.  The only difference between dating and prostitution is that prostitution is honest, above-board, and straightforward.  There is no need for deception, no use in lies.  The male pays for a service, and the female is rewarded financially for the services she provides.  While there are certainly both hobbyists and providers who are less than honest, that situation is found in the general population as well as it is in the somewhat underground world of prostitution.  If the act is committed by two consenting adults, it is difficult to see where the harm in it lies.  If, of course, the provider is not choosing this profession willingly, that is an entirely different story, and any such situation is undoubtedly reprehensible. Making it illegal, however, makes it more likely, not less so, that a woman will be forced into the situation by a disreputable man.  Why would any man patronize an illegal provider when there are plenty of legal ones available?

As to the view that prostitution is performed exclusively by uneducated, poverty stricken, individuals who have low self image, nothing could be farther from the truth.  Most of the ladies who escort or work in the brothels are actually educated and upstanding citizens otherwise.  Their money is spent on the same things on which others in “legal” professions spend their money.  Most do not partake of illegal substances, nor do they engage in illegal activities other than their profession. Many of the ladies in this profession use the money they make to pay for even higher education either for themselves or for their families.  Many of the ladies in this profession have fewer issues with depression, anxiety, and stress related health issues than do women in the general population. They also have a healthier sense of responsibility than the majority of the public.  Certainly this is not true of all providers, but it also not true of all women in any group.

As to the issue of fidelity, while again this is a Christian view, would it not be better for your man to “cheat” with someone who does not want a committed relationship and has no interest in breaking up a family, than for this same man to find the release and companionship he needs from an individual whose only desire is to have that man for herself?  Speaking from experience, most of the gentlemen who are married, that I see, are happily married, but they lack the sexual release in their marriage that I provide. These men have no desire to leave their spouses, and without my services they would end up having a true affair that might ultimately destroy both the men and their families.  Women in more socially acceptable occupations are as capable of malicious behavior as anyone else, and they have a greater interest in stealing a man than a provider has.

So, before you jump to unwarranted judgment and show your ignorance or stubbornness, it may be helpful to spend some time thinking for yourself about this issue.

This essay is being sent to as many members of our elected government, relevant organizations, and people across the internet as I personally can reach. If you agree, please help by sending it to as many people you can think of.  Perhaps if we work together, instead of being scared or apathetic, we may bring about the change we desire and that our country deserves.

Only by keeping the dissenters cowering in darkness can a repressive government prevail.  We need to stop cowering and let our voices be heard.

Thank you for your time.

To the author:  You'll make far more dinero if you keep the legality of the sport exactly where it is right now.  You think the government is involved in your business now?  Just wait until legalization happens. If you go about your business in an intelligent and low-key manner, you can go a whole career having essentially the best of both worlds. More money for you and no "real" regulation from them.

People have already essentially voted on the morality of the issue.  You don't see a major city with a vice squad of 250 members, do you?  The top ten largest cities in the USA probably do not have that many in total. But if people truly wanted to "stamp-out" your line of work, you'd see major enforcement happening.
