thinking about renting a house on airbnb to set one up here in Phoenix. Anyone with experience or advice on how to go about setting this up?

Just rent a house in Canada and have everyone meet in Canada instead.  Westjet has some good direct flights to Toronto.  
   
Yah but its getting cold now.  I checked quickly Westjet in mid June when I would go and prices are about twice what I paid this June vs Air Canada direct.  Most Westjets are not direct at least couldn't find any.  

American has only 1 direct, a cheap red eye.  Not for me since can't check into hotel early morning when arrive.  

Airbnb has tempted me for my 10-14 day trips in new condos, but always get a much better deal about half of usual rate at nice hotels by priceline bidding.  

Meets do not have to have any legal concerns in Phoenix if done right, not like the Desert Divas years ago.  Yet I have no interest in just a bar drinking meeting.  Decade ago had some great meetings with about 100 folks at the old "sky-high condo" I hosted but was more structured than just stand and drink at a bar.
