I always see people referencing them, how do I find out when/where they are being held....?  

In the general boards section, there is a Meet and Greet section.  I went through there just this morning for the 1st time, but I did not see anything for PHX/AZ in the past 6 months.  The ones I looked at are invitation-only.  Given the LE issues going on in Tempe, not sure if it would be a good thing but I'd be interested if there was a daytime or early happy hour type event.

Happy hour sounds harmless enough, just some people getting together for drinks and good conversation. Swap phone #'s, etc

Someone should do a costume one around Halloween. That way if you're kinda shy, your alter ego can shine via your costume. At least people won't just be standing around looking awkward, you'll have plenty of conversation starters.

Great Idea!  How many people would show?? Just a guess?  Maybe host in a private venue?

Let's see how much interest there is and then we can go from there with making some plans.
