Her dad was being taken in earlier this evening for surgery to remove his spleen and clean up the blood that was building up around it. His blood pressure had dropped dangerously so they had to do it now. (It appears that JC Lincoln neglected to find that his spleen was lacerated in the accident.)

I just got off the phone with her again (10:40pm) and she said that he was out of surgery and doing well. Next they'll be giving him 4 units of blood to help make up for what was lost. Malissa has had the chance to get a little rest and is doing a bit better
