Trying to get an idea where is good to stay
And what I can do in town?

How's the scene?

Hugs Hazel

There’s tons and tons of urban hiking all over the valley. Weather should be awesome when you’re here.

Old Town Scottsdale has about a million restaurants and boutiques and art galleries. There’s the Scottsdale waterfront area with the river walk. Artistic Soleri bridge and fancy lights and stuff. It’s actually a canal but don’t tell anybody. 🤫

There’s the musical instrument museum but it’s way up north of….everything.

I keep hearing the Phoenix zoo is one of the best out there. Probably won’t impress you much if you’ve been to San Diego but maybe fun. I know it sounds lame but the botanical gardens is actually kinda cool. Last time I went there was a bunch of huge glass sculptures there too. (Anybody know if that stuff’s still there?)  Both those are in the Papago park area along with other stuff and some of that hiking.

If you get homesick, there’s quite a few casinos but they’re scattered around all over the place along the outskirts for obvious reasons. If you check one out and don’t like the vibe you can’t just walk next door.

And of course half of MLB will be here in spring training during your visit.

Looking great on the photo board BTW!
