So disappointed! I was stood up this evening by a well-reviewed provider, though one who is new to me. That is one of the detractions from seeking an occasional new friend...but Phoenix has always offered some of the most outstanding independent women I've known anywhere. Guess it was time for a dose of reality. I'm sure this has happened to others. Now...to start looking again, before my visit ends.

Yep, I have had many complications come up with more providers then not when it comes to scheduling. On the one hand I guess that is what one has to expect as we are all human with lives and other priorities, but on the other this IS their business and we know that in the larger business world that would never fly.

Oh my. Some idiot is mad on the internet. I didn't compare it to a corporation. I compared it to a business. Guess what clueless, it is. And the women refer to it that way all the time. Small and medium businesses don't have CEOs, Executives, or 401k plans either. NCNS in any business relationship or any sort of business meeting is never OK no matter which party you are. Maybe you should go back to your street walkers since you can't stop thinking of these women has anything but hookers prowling the streets. The fact is for independents this is very much a business. I have my own business. I have a business license, LLC corp, and everything. My business is also a service business. I am also the only employee. Oh my gosh must not be a business!

I just had that happened yesterday! Well-reviewed provider. Called at designated time. No answer. No call. No apology. Should I post their name, TER ID?

Absolutely not. That has a potentially negative effect on their business and as of right now you don't know what happened or why. Would be best not to do anything you can't take back.

Although I totally agree that ncns is totally rude and unprofessional, you never know what may have happened. Maybe she or her child was ill or had an emergency? Hopefully she will follow up w/ you and offer a discount or more time for your trouble. I agree w/ Theonegodd, exposing the gal will cause major problems for her business. Like Hiddenhills suggested, email her to see if she's ok, hopefully you'll get an explanation and she'll offer to make it up to you ;-)

If you've hobbied long enough NCNS is bound to happen. My suggest is to email her a "nice" inquiry to make sure she's ok. If she doesn't respond within 24 to 48 hrs. come back on the board and mention your email to not get a response. You can then offer to inform hobbyists her name via pm.

I remember once I had a gal literally hang up on me while I was driving towards her place, before I had gotten the full directions (I have no GPS). Granted, she told me later an emergency had happened so I did understand, but wow was that disapointing!
