One, put Abortion on the ballet and the decision in the hands of the people not at the bench of Judges. Or Two, put Abortion in legislation, where by those we elect can be accountable for the laws which are made in this country and to the people who elect them into office.  Three, only those in a position of authority it seems that should be held accountable in New Orleans are federal officials and politicians, local politicians get a free pass tell me where the racism rests.  The only “light” in your post seems to be the one that has gone out.

1) Abortion is not an electorial issue any more than slavery was. You dont put fundemental issues in the hands of politics.

2) this is an extension of the above arguement...so we'll "vote" abortion in or out every 4 years?

In no way am I absolving Federal or state officials of blame. But local authorities share an awful lot of the blame....they did NOTHING to help avert the tragedy BEFORE hand.

Right on Hacker !!   The last two nominees to the Supreme Court got free passes and were not held accountable for their refusal to answer any questions on specific ethical questons !!  Typical double standard media.

i suggest a history lesson for you. with a phd in american history i know mine. you cant make a statement so limited in nature and be taken seriously. you must go deeper than the last 2 supreme court nominees to fully understand the process. while the media is usually wishy-washy, youre no better by your post.
