I posted this message a couple of months ago and thought I would drop a reminder notice.

As a diabetic myself, I was lucky and was diagnosed as an adult with Type 2 diabetes. Unfortuneately, children don't have such luck. Many are diagnosed at a very early age, and are required to take shots for all of their life. With advancements in medicine, this style of care is being gotten rid of. However, it takes functions like this to help fund the research. I feel lucky that my daughter was born healthy and did not have to endure painful shots.
