The original post below carried the subject line, "Did you cum?"  It starts off as though answering a question--a question nobody (on the board) asked, on a topic about which the original poster is no more an expert than anybody else.  When I posted my reply, the thread consisted of 3 or 4 providers chatting amongst themselves about men's views of their orgasms.  It reminded me of an episode of "The View".  There you have it.

But there's a bigger issue.

This is an example of a growing trend on this board.  Some providers seem to think that the best way to market themselves is to post comments 5-10 times a day.  Just do a search for posts by the more regular names and you'll see what I mean.  (Keep in mind that the name of this site is The Erotic REVIEW, not "The AOL Escort Chat Room".)

I'm also puzzled why it is that TER limits providers to one ad per week, yet those very same providers can start threads like this that are nothing more than "soft ads".  In case anybody missed it, we've lost a considerable number of regular male contributors over the past few months.  Much of the reviewing and information-sharing that used to occur here has moved to other boards and backchannelling.  The number of hobbyist posts seems to be dropping as the number of provider posts increases.

I do believe that providers often offer valuable input and information, but some subjects and threads are probably best reserved for boards that are for providers.  I know that many guys consider these more-vocal ladies their ATF's, and love to have a forum to chat them up, but again, this is neither AOL nor eHarmony.

Many providers rely on TER referrals for their livings.  They should be careful that they don't kill the goose that laid the golden egg by making the Phoenix forum irrelevant to all but a few insiders.

Rosie I am guessing you are referring to the "group" of agency shillers who were posting almost every other thread until some were moderated and or banned.

It doesn't seem that a happy medium has been found in what everyone considers acceptable in this forum.

For those that you cite as examples of mutiple thread posting maybe they will figure out that marketing plan is not working and try something else.  It would seem they can't be busy because they are always posting on this board.

But in the end Rosie this is a open forum and anyone can post or say anthing they like as long as it does not violate TER guidelines

Rosie, Rosie, Rosie... I'm not sure I understand why you are so threatened by these posts...Personally, I think a lot of the topics are interesting and thought-provoking... If you see a providers name on the post that you don't care for, DON'T READ IT... And if you have something much more interesting to discuss, post it and I'm sure we'll all be happy to respond One more thing...Most of the providers you are referring to have all the business they need, and may have free time because they choose not to have an assembly line of clients at their door... Lighten up... If you want to fight w/ someone, call Donald Trump...

I think  Rosie does make some good observations we have lost some of the male posters I miss seeing Bozaz and even Az Hacker who was banned but we have gained several new ones like the post below, Driver. People come and go and several of the ladies have been driven off by mean spirited posts I miss Roxsanne, Ciara and several others that use to post here,Rosie is right I am no expert I was just sharing my own thoughts and personal experiences. I am surprised at how many PMs I recieve after a post mostly positive that encourge me to  keep writing ,I also post on other boards and find that alot of people respond not always positive but thats okay, I do not expect everyone to agree or even like me. One thing that is not true is the statement that I must have alot of free time to post as often as I do wrong again. I find the time when I can mostly in the early morning before my day gets started.Not to bragg but I am as busy as I want to be,as far as these being soft ads,you might be right but i rarely see the posters on the boards maybe the lurkers have seen what I write and respond but isn"t that the point to give everyone a sense of your views and personality?I have never posted on the providers boards I am sure they serve a purpose but I prefer talking with both sexes.Keep posting Rosie as I can tell you are a smart observant and educated poster and I for one liked your feedback.

As a male participant in the sexual arena nothing  is more meaning or useful to me than a woman’s psychosexual musings.  It befuddles me why we would wish to discourage any ladies insight in this area.  Without their involvement here reading this board would become a futile and sterile effort.  I don’t mind the soft adds and causal exchanges between the ladies.  Yes the site is for service reviews and if you’re looking for the nut and bolt detail you will find it within those reviews.  But this board is the only vehicle for male and female interaction.  For some this may be of little or no value when all that is needed is an ad, a photo, and a number.  So as a commodity what is most important is how she feels and not what she feels.  I will let them make their own arguments.  But if you’re patient and interested in more than just what part fits where, how can you not look forward to what is on the ladies minds.  Keep up the postings and musing Ladies, I find it delightful!!!

When Rosie slammed Kelly Ripa it was because she wanted Regis and Kelly's show ratings to drop resulting in more business for Rosie's show.  You were just trying to make people look bad and run them off the boards.  Not going to work.  You are just jealous.  Get a life and stop using alias'.
