I actually had a provider tell me that she creates fake reviews on people just so that she can get in and look without having to pay. Made me worry a bit about future dalliances being honestly reviewed, but, heck, I was only there for the sex anyway!
I know everyone gets sick of hearing about reviews that providers have gotten that are not real. I love TER and what it represents, but the free membership for reviews needs to stop.....
I just got a review from a guy that I have never seen before, it pisses me off because it has hurt my business!
Anyone that has seen me for real will look at this review and know that this person has NEVER seen me! But still doesn't change the fact that this can and will continue to happen to myself and others if something doesn't change.
Don't get me wrong here, if I deserve an average or negative review, so be it........but, it is completely unfair for someone to say things that are a complete lie just to keep a membership!

Its the whole economic factor right now. That coupled with the fact that the whole Phx selection of hoes has greatly increased as of late.
I looked at his other reviews and 95 % are bad or below average reviews. He really has a problem. I still think about our session a while ago and you are hot hot hot. I don't think any hobbyist will even blink about not seeing from this one review. You have a great reputation and rightfully so.

i think it would be fairly easy for them to add a "rebuttal" button to each review.
theres 2 sides to every story.
most of the guys who make them up or tell outrageous lies do so because they know they wont be questioned and the sniveling cowards wouldnt be so quick to do it if they knew we could call bullshit on them.
this would isolate and identity the repeat offenders and hopefully weed them out eventually which would give the whole process more credibility thereby increasing the value of the site to its members.
and it would keep us silly women from complaining all over your hobbyist board every time it happens which is quite frequently since the guys use it as a weapon against us instead of a tool to help the community.
plus it could possibly be very entertaining to hear the girl's side.
in fact im sure of it.
Great idea. Someone should suggest it to TER. At least if they won't post the rebuttal we should be allowed to. Even on EBay when you get feedback you are allowed to post a rebuttal.
I’m sure many people use fake reviews for free VIP status, but why do we only seem to hear griping about it when the reviews are less than stellar?
The ability to provide a rebuttal is an outstanding idea. It’s not only a tool to ID fake reviews, but a way to clarify points in the review – e.g. responding to a client that you only offer that service to guys who are shaved. It beats the hell out of the back and forth drama in the discussion boards.
Just don’t call the damn thing a “feedback forum”

Have you pm'd the guy as to why he did a review or inform TER staff so they can investigate it.
I can't imagine that one review would hurt with all the others being so good. Any hobbyist that would look at the guys other reviews can tell nothing would satisfy him...the guy is happy with anyone!
I just don't understand how this guy or the other ones that do this think they can get by with it.
I think the problem is not really with the free membership as much as if TER would ban these guys from the site...When a lady does something wrong, she's banned.
Maybe that's what needs to happen!
I think TER should get stricter on guys that do this!

You are very right about unchecked fake reviews. I was a paying VIP for some time. I finally dropped it because I could no longer trust so much of what I was reading.
The problem I personally ran into was the other end of fake reviews. That was so-so providers writing their own fakes.
One such provider has lots of reviews; which are either just so-so or glowing! I figured it was a YMMV. After visiting this provider and having a very poor experience I decided to study the old reviews and watch for new ones. I discovered a strong trend.
First off, the provider DID NOT offer the services listed in her profile. I noticed that every so-so review described verified the reduced services I was given. (After Donation!)
I also found that after one or two so-so reviews there were two glowing reviews. When I studies those, there were a couple of unusual and uncommon phrases. One was how "intellegent" she was. A lightbulb went on as I remembered her bragging about being smart during our session.
At that point I researched all the reviewers. Without exception, every so-so review was done by a VIP with several, varied reviews written. The glowing reviews, however were the only review written by each guy! The one exception to that way a guy who had written one other glowing review about the provider's roommate.
If it walks like a duck...
So I cancelled my membership.
There is a sequel to this story. Maybe some other time.
..about how easy it is to just make up a review. Not my cup of tea and I would think that eventually it would come back to bite ya. With all due respect to ana's "rebuttal" suggestion, I fear it would only cause some contentious threads on the forums. Would it not be feasible for TER to simply ask the "provider" to verify that indeed she saw the "hobbiest" that submitted the review. IMO, most of the disputed reviews by the ladies are similar circumstances. Reviews written by someone who truly saw a provider are generally honest and while some issues may still arise due to differences of opinion, it would weed out some of the crap.
Look, it's not a perfect world out there. The herd's gotten too plentiful....knowwhatimean??? Professional pest control companies have made millions trying to eradicate the common cockroach....yet they're still among us.

assuming all providers were honest, that would be great but unfortunately both sides are infested and that would allow robs to be robs and then just deny they've seen the guy.
plus ter staff doesnt want additional workload im sure.
i'm sure that some disagreements will ensue however the rebuttals would be on the review section of the site and not in the threads at all which if you havent noticed is where they are now since we have no other place to defend ourselves.
the only thing keeping the contention out of the threads right now is the hobbyists dont address the accusations made by the providers. right now, theres nothing stopping the hobbyist that posted heathers review from jumping in here and arguing that the review is valid.
could be a plethora of reasons as to why they never do.
if you dont want us to defend ourselves in the threads, then we need somewhere else to do it. the review section would be the obvious choice since thats the topic of our contention. . unless you're just waiting for all of us to quit whining and just be quiet since thats what most normal women normally do when their requests are ignored. dont they ?

Heather, I totally agree with you, and really think a guy like our Moderator, Dingus 15, is the kind of guy who will try and straighten this problem out.
It really shouldn't hurt your business, as any hobbyist who sees so many great reviews and one stinker generally knows the problem is with the reviewer, NOT the provider.
I'm assuming by now Dingus 15 has already seen this thread, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's also already seeking a remedy.
Anyone who has spent time with you knows you're 100% the real deal, and a lot of fun to spand time with!

A few negative reviews isn't going to hurt you...personally I chalk them up to the hobbyist having a different expectation, or not feeling a connection. If you have mostly good reviews, I think you can afford a couple of unhappy customers. It's gonna happen.
There should however, be a way for you to mark a review as contested. You wouldn't have to say why it was contested, but people reading the reviews could see that there is an issue. If a provider contests too many reviews, then we could see that they probably aren't professional in their work ethic, and they should be avoided.

from what ive seen, most of us are a bit insecure so 30 guys can tell you that you're amazing but its easier to believe the 1 guy that says you're not. even if he doesnt know you.
and this isnt really the kind of job you can do successfully if you feel like shit about yourself. so no, he wont keep clients away but harm can still be done.
im sure it hurt her feelings.

So sorry that this had to happen to you but I don't think that you'll have anything to worry about. If anyone takes a look at the other reviews that guy put up they'd see that he just isn't pleased with any provider.
You're an awesome woman who most guys would consider lucky that you even talk to them, much less enjoy time with!

I wouldn't worry too much, sounds like a jerk, always give low scores and not really to be believed. You're better than him and your other reviews show it.
BTW, are you into giving white list referrals? I noticed one of your reviewers got one, but only one reviewer.
