...I went to the John Mayer concert last night and was sitting right behind a gentleman I had visited with a few times in the past.  

I agree! There's always a sense of naughtiness when you know you saw each other and just grin in memory of the fun you both had.

I ran into a provider I was seeing twice a month, while out on a date !!!!

I have seen clients out in the "real world" and I have always told them that since neither of us know who else is with the other that I will not acknowledge them and ask them to do the same with me.

I find it works better that way. Our secret is our dirty little secret.

Always best just to smile and leave it at that. Then the next time you get together you can have a good laugh.

I once saw a provider coming out of the grocery store as I was going in and she had her 2 little children with her. She first looked a little shocked. I just smiled at her and nodded and she did the same.  another time I was exiting the casino and she was coming in with a guy but she smiled and winked as I smiled at her.

We had a pretty good relationship and had tons of fun together, I wasn't offended and she recovered flawlessly so no harm, no foul...

I've ran into people we've met before and I leave it up to them to come an say hi. Since we entertain as a couple, it's not awkward for them to see a guy with me. But if they see us with friends, they just say a quick hi as they pass by.

But I always try to make eye contact first before saying something. Hoping to get a positive response.  

I've seen providers I've seen, and some I have yet to see out in public all the time. Just saw one yesterday at the mall. I have never said "Hi". Have made eye contact, and a smile many times(want to redpect their privacy). Have gotten many texts after seeing providers out and about right after, asking to get together...

I need to run into this man again...... The suspense is killing me!!! LOL!!!

Once I went for an annual insurance audit for one of my companies and the auditor happened to be a provider that I had seen several years ago.  She said did not recognize me but said that I looked familiar.  We finished the audit and was talking about other things when she gasped looked at me and said "Oh no".  I said "Remember now don't you".  She asked me to please not tell anyone or her work.  I said don't worry that I was just happy to see her and wished her well.  I am now going on the tenth year audit with her, but I do get an added hug that others probably don't get.
