To my knowledge this is the first message I have initiated so please be gentle with me.

Years ago there was a TV program named Mad About You, during one of the segments Paul Reiser tells Helen Hunt that women want the bing, the bang and the boom when it comes to sex where men only want the boom. I find I must take exception to this as much as I like the boom I am also very fond of the bing and the bang.

When it comes to hobbying I find that the bing and the bang are important to me. By this I mean the fantasy and the exploration. One provider had on her voice mail that she was most likely with other clients, one told me she has a husband, another about the things she does with her boyfriend and one mocked hobbiests who had said stupid things to her. Somehow I find these seemingly mundane statements diminished the fantasy I had of the appointment.

Possibly these statements are intentional to bring the hobbiest back to reality. I believe my question is for both the hobbiest and the provider. Do other hobbiests find this to much reality and for providers is this a needed dose of reality?

and I don't mind sharing "reality" per say. If I say something to someone during an encounter that he doesn't like, it's probably better that we don't meet again. I want people to like coming to me for me, and not some act I have to put on.
 I couldn't be in this business if I didn't like it and if I wasn't allowed to be me. Theres no facade here. If I as a person am not someones fantasy- Great. All the more reason for variety.
If I am, even better- because Im true to myself, and in every encounter- thats what you'll get. The real me.

I wish more hobbiest would post more releveant stuff like this rather than who is govenor or mayor of the hobbying community which I find very clickish, mundane and immature among that group of hobbyist themselves.

I understand what you are saying when a provider mentions a SO or stories about other hobbiest and how that relates to the diminishing factor for the fantasy but one thing I keep in mind is that I don't meet a provider with the expectation that something is going to come out of my meeting her unless she has otherwise alluded to such.  I fell for that very thing once before but never again.

But like you, I am never interested in her SO or hobbiest stories unless for some reason I have asked about them. I personally like hearing the stories about her female encounters. Could be a nice way for you to transition the conversation next time.

I look forward to every encounter and I'm always me, it's not hard to be yourself. I've had many request for role playing and I just can't do it because it's not me.

I just enjoy the both of us being ourselves..it makes love making that much more special!

It pleases me so much when I read a review that say "She made me  feel like we've know each other for a long time" or "long lost lovers" that's me!

the Bing, the Bang is just as important if not more so than the Boom, after all the Boom may only come once whereas the Bing and Bang can be on going.  Unlike you I have heard stories from providers that were interesting, entertaining and quite enjoyable.  For the sake of discussion I must say these stories came from providers whom I have met over and over during a period of time.  It seems to me they became comfortable with me, enough so that they could share these tidbits.  Sometimes it is a nice break between the beginning and the end of a session and gets your mind off trying to get it up and off more than once.  I must say the stories, etc., I have heard have been most tasteful

I concur with XBanker that I like my sessions to be free from various personal disclosures. I certainly would not like to hear a provider mock hobbiests, nor for that matter, another provider. Negativity of that sort would most certainly detract from the overall experience.

That being said, I also believe the good old YMMV applies here. I would imagine there are hobbiests who would not feel their experience was diminished when a provider discusses facets of their personal life during a session. Which is why I ultimately think is such a challenge to find a provider who is compatible to your needs. Most of the time we are so focused on what types of activities will transpire during a session with a new provider that we easily overlook several equally, if not more important, traits. When I perform my "due diligence" prior to booking a session with a provider I have not seen before, I ALWAYS try to get a read on the prospective provider's personality and character in addition to the menu of services. Maybe reviews should place greater emphasis on on how we left feeling as a person versus simply how a certain part of our body felt after a BBJTC.

I see your point XB, but speaking for myself I've never minded hearing personal details  that a provider wishes to share... And everything I hear stays between us and I share my story as well if they care to hear it...It's never diminished our time together and has brought me closer to several ladies... Having said that, if you've never seen Jennifer (see post below) I promise you there won't be much conversation

I truly believe each experience is different. However, I try very hard to set up my incall so it's the right temperature, it's cozy, clean and condusive to romance. I want it to be perfect, even if the gentleman doesn't recognize or appreciate all the things I've gone through to make our experience turn into a successful and loving date.  I make sure the music is sensuous or to his liking, that there are yummy snacks, the right drink is on hand, the right perfume -- or no perfume -- depending on the gentleman. I ask what is his favorite color is and if he is allergic to any oils or perfumes. Call me an old-fashioned romantic, but I want our time spent together to be magical. Once he arrives, he will give me the vibes as to whether he wants a quickie and an animalistic adventure or a slow-moving, romantic evening. I love being the ultimate courtesan but I also love role playing and feel very comfortabe doing both. Throw in some candles, a comfortable Tempurpedic bed, a full-body massage, lots of licking up and down the spine (to include toes), lots of slow kissing (the entire body), and you've got a great day or evening in my book.

Hi Ciara, nice to see you posting, I agree attention to the detail is very important. I find the more mature providers have this figured out our clients tend to expect the best and really do notice all the extra time we have taken to assure them of walking into a beautiful clean relaxing incall. The ones that say they really could care less are not the clients you and I are trying to attract, just reading your post makes ME want to come over LOL V

Total truth.  This is the CiCi experience. The Halloween "role play" with Roxanne was so much fun.  The only thing she left out was all three times three...bing, bing, bing, bang, bang, and boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.  A fantastic lady.

i find that the bing really isnt my bag and obviously i'm a fan of the bang so i think if i could trade a bing for a bang and have bang bang boom i'd be happy.

Well hello , my clients are usually the kind that prefer the whole experience.
I get a lot of responses, and being occasional, I prefer to visit with those who "match up" well with me.
I've found that there are a lot of men looking for more than they thought. Often asking for a specific act, and upon realizing I'm not ready to "kick 'em out" right after, they can enjoy a bit extra time just hanging out .
I cannot always be an all day girl, but sometimes I can hang out longer than expected.
    It's important to remember that I don't pretend to be a fantasy woman, but try to be the best version of myself for others.

He's asking about providers ruining the fantasy or being in the moment by the providers mentioning SO, or the fact on their VM they are with other clients, or mocking stupid statements from other hobbyest that would take away the fantasy of him being the one and only.

I don't think a mature provider or having a clean incall has anything to do with the question he was asking.  Just my observation, but I could be wrong but probably not.  I'm not used to posting inane drivel, only reading it from others.
