..it would have to include DFK and DATY.  I also prefer to be the one to do the "unveiling". Some time for "foreplay" and some passionate build-up to the main event...all concluded with some casual conversation afterwards.

GFE is a frame of mind for most, everyones thoughts are differant as are our tastes. After a session our minds wander, If you, after a session think, wow, I could date someone like her, that was a very comfortable time for the both of us THEN that was a GFE.

For me, it goes back to those early first few dates with a girl.  It starts with the anticipation of sitting down and talking, then moving to the more intimate moments of an encounter, from the carress of a hand, to the gentle touching of those special areas.  Leading from there to one of two places.... either ripping one another's clothes off and getting down to sweaty sweaty, heavy breathing sex... or moving towards getting nekkid and slowly discovering one another with a newfound playfullness.  Both can be GFE in my opinion.  What isn't GFE is when she is "I'm here, I see the envelope, let me grab your crotch, I'm nekkid, now do the deed".  

As far as activities... i'd agree with Mya that kissing is right there as part of GFE and DATY would be also, but I also remember a girl that I dated in college that wasn't into kissing and instead nibbled and pecked and it worked out well too.

I guess I consider myself "gfe" but even better I would and do consider myself NOT "gfe".  

Why....

simply because I will do what your girlfriend won't do (or won't do anymore) and what your afraid to ask of her to do either to you or not.    

I suppose I can always tell you to take out the garbage, put the toilet seat down, put the cap back on the tooth paste. I won't expect you to indroduce me to your parents nor will I want you to meet mine.

I think "gfe" is fine for a lack of a better term and yes I am poking fun (no pun intended). I agree with the other posters, basicly it's a state of mind, if you want to have a "gfe" time then that is what you will have.

I think that GFE varies from man to man because most have certain things that turn them on or off about a woman. Some like agressive ones and others want to be the agressor. Many want a woman who is into (not just 'offers') DFK and DATY... but then there are those who want to be able to just lay back and enjoy her licking, nibbling and sucking without feeling obligated to do anything in return. I believe that it's important for a provider to be able to pick up on these things and go with it.

Most importantly, a GFE is natural, not mechanical or forced. No matter what kind of play is desired it should feel like 'the real thing' ;o)
