Is it only me or are other hobbyists seeing a trend of inflated reviews?  Are hobbyists afraid to "tell it like it is" for fear of being blackballed by certain providers?  I travel frequently and see this trend nationally.  It seems that established reviewers start off objectively and the by review 15 or 20 everyone is a 9 or 10.  I for one am finding the value of reviews watered down and less usefull in determining whether I should set a date or not.  Aren't quality reviews the backbone of TER?  Due to the nature of this business and the human factor involved, I am sure that everyone has marginal or bad experiences in addition to the great experiences.  Everyone touts to do their homework, how do you do that when there is no balance in the reviews?

if you use the ter search function, there should be no suprises...I can tell you the quality of my experiences has improved as I researched.....to your point....I had my share of 6's but with research...and a bit of patience, most of my experiences are now off the chart.....Moderators can't write reviews, but my experiece is as you gain experience, you choose more wisely and are rarely dissapointed.

come into play. As dingus stated you gain insight as your experience level grows. You also gain contacts and your overall information goes way up....so it's easier to make a "better" choice.

You also have a somewhat subjective set of variables....so as M&J commented you need to pick your "reviewer" as well as your "reviewee".

I think looks are a bit more black and white but I got in a serious "spitting match" on that issue here awhile back so even that will vary since "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". However all in all the marks hold up well. As for the "performance" grade I think that you have pretty well set parameters. If you get over a "7" certain standards need to be met...if not I'd voice my complaint on the local BBS as well as in your review.

All in all I think that the reviews are pretty good if you read the VIP portions and dont just rely on the "#"s....

as Hacker said over time your gut feeling and info resources increase and you make better decisions.  For the most part I personally look for the overall experinece and not the 'girl of the week' and have maybe become a bit risk averse.

The reviews that help me are those that go into some detail of the experience, so I try to write mine like that.  I've been with some gals who in my book are a 10+ experience but using the TER scale might rate only an 8.  So numbers are one thing to look at but not the only thing.

YMMV is always a factor and that works both ways.  As they say: Make her laugh, make her smile, and do make her moan!

It's odd to me that you are not reporting having seen a highly-rated lady with whom you had a bad experience.  If you're having good sessions, using TER, what's the problem?

The purpose of this system is to help hobbyists avoid bad experiences, and choose to quality providers with whom they are likely to have a good time.  It's economic Darwinism...survival of the fittest.  The poor performers get fewer and fewer calls, and eventually drop out for lack of work.  The quality (and smart) performers not only get the business, but they can read about other provider's services and learn what guys like.  The higher scores are a reason to celebrate!

Think we all get wiser the longer we are in this thing as it relates to successfully finding the ladies who we might enjoy spending time with. The discussion board "points", formal reviews (more the narratives for me rather than the 'scores') and the the ever expanding circle of hobby friends whose counsel you respect and trust, help get us to linking with those gals who are going to provide us with the things that interest us most and the higher level performance.

I have to agree with Mya if the lady is serious about being successful in the business she will learn from hers reviewers and provide for their needs. This will bring her scores up and put her solidly in the 8/9 category.

Well speaking from my perspective. I agree with your take that a lot of reviews are in the 8 - 10 category for both looks and performance.  In my case it is due the main reason I am a lot more picky on who I see and I know the level of service going in, I know her looks, or at least what her pictures show before the appt.

So typiccally I do not get many reviews below an 8.  Now a lady I saw last week that was a friend of another provider was a good looking lady but her perfomance only recieved a 5. That is the worst performance rating I have given in over 2 years.

So bottom line, we are a lot more selective in the ladies we see and not just giving them a rubber stamp rating on the reviews.  Hopes this clarifies things a bit.  You also need to look at the consistantcy of the reviewer to know how accurate the reviews are.

I see you are still stuck in the kitchen with your pots either stirring them or throwing them at others. As I have not posted anything to warrant either your personal attention or this slam, I have to assume that you are going through one of your usual, monthly, silly periods. Certainly, my post was not the least bit controversial and most certainly did not warrant your unnecessary response and dig.

Perhaps "STAFF", with its current interest in keeping this board civil and in eliminating the "troublemakers" through banning, should have you join the others who have recently disappeared. There should be no tolerance for such an unprovoked attack on this board.

BTW, your 12 or so threads/comments/posts about Calli in a 2 month period of time will probably forever stand as the all-time shill record. Jeffrey, I think one of your POTS may be BLACK!

You may wish to review some of your own past comments/posts on the subject of shilling and may wish to heed your own advice and counsel about "drivel, backstabbing, fighting, morons, having a clue and getting a life"!

Thank you Michael.  IMHO, this type of good, solid intel is what this Board is  SUPPOSED  to be about, rather than the drivel, backstabbing, and fighting that we often see here.

Seriously, Az.Hacker brings up some very good points, but it's so obvious that some posters have no clues;  that's one reason why I've cut back on my reviews, too.  And, Hacker, speaking of reviews, when will your "messed-up hair review" be going up? Soon, we all hope!  And, now that I think about it, you looked a little tired earlier, too--did your ATF wear you out a bit earlier that day?

What a joke!  Of course, "coronalover" has zero reviews--perhaps an alias?  Big surprise, right?
If you need a refresher, jerko, this is a board for hobbyists to post their opinions and information.  My recent post of an Agency Lady, Calli, was simply giving this Board some information, just as posts I have done for several great independents, like Nikki Avalon in Vegas and MJ and Isabella Amore here, were both insightful and informative.
I'll stand behind my sixty-something reviews and let the readers decide if I am a shill, jerko.

I agree with Mya I think that when you are a new provider you learn as you go...I think the reviews have really helped me to see where I could improve my service.Also I have had reviewers even recently tell me that the scores they sumitted for me were changed by TER due to the fact as simple as he might of not listed DFK was provided.therfore my score dropped a point in preformance.as far as appearance that is a tough call I am a mature provider and do not expect to be model material if I had to score myself in the real world I would say I am an 8. As far as preformanceince I do not do offer certain menu items I understand I will never be a 10 I am cool with that I am just happy most of my reviews are positive and say that I am a nice lady....Victoria

I appreciate everyone posting their point of view.  I still find it hard to believe that even the top performers don't have off day's.  But I guess Forrest Gump said it best..."Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get".  For those that travel you'll have to agree with me in that it is getting harder and harder to rely on reviews when shopping for a date out of town.

(Although it would have been easier to read if TER allowed footnotes and fonts.)  One should be careful of the bitterness with which one writes, because he could wind up tasting it at some point in the future!

I have learned from my reviews, when I started 2 years ago June I didn't even know about TER or even getting references (thank my lucky stars, I was ok) But I know I was real nervous until I was informed from a wonderful gentleman who till this day I still see!!!!

I have learned and grown from all my reviews!

What really hurts is the low scores on looks I know I'm not a Pamela Anderson, but I'm not a 5 or a 6, 7 is ok but I really appreciate those 8's and 9's...maybe those are the good hair and makeup days...ha! ha!
