Injured hobbyist seeks....sad_smile

I was deeply saddened when I realized I would not be attending today's party. I was looking very forward to supporting a wonderful cause and  meeting all in attendance. Unfortunately, I experienced a health emergency which necessitated swift surgical intervention. Last night I was in horrific pain which prevented me from even making a cameo. However, I am elated to hear the fundraiser was a success--I wish I could have made a contribution.

Additionally, I wonder if there is a provider who would not mind seeing a client while they are recovering from surgery/injury? My activity level has been significantly reduced for the immediate future, but not entirely shut down. I welcome suggestions from my fellow hobbyists along with providers who are comfortable working with a client who has some temporary physical limitations.

Yes, my injury is the reason I was not in attendance at the party!!! I had to undergo an emergency surgical procedure Tuesday morning in an attempt to alleviate my symptoms. Time will tell how well everything went. I hope to partake in hobbying without physical limitations soon. I am slowly but surely able to get around. I cannot emphasize enough how bummed I was to miss the party!!! Thanks for your concern.

I am moved by the responses and offers I have received. Once I am a bit more mobile I will be in contact with those who were kind enough to write so we can schedule accordingly.

Furthermore, despite occasional pettiness which occurs on this board, I truly believe our community is special and consistently has reached out to to members during times of need. It is during times like these when I am proud to be affiliated with our community.
