I noted the post below about reviews being rejected for "bad website", which I think often means the provider has no TER badge or banner displayed, and that got me thinking.
If the purpose of this site is to give hobbyists information on reputable, quality providers and to warn them about disreputable, poor-quality providers, then the badge requirement actually works against that purpose. Shouldn't TER maintain all submitted reviews of all providers, regardless of the TER badge, so that the bad experiences (which are presumably more likely to come from providers who lack the badge) will be documented for posterity (insert your own joke here)?
Of course, with the backlog also mentioned below, I doubt that anybody from TER is taking the time to read this or any other forum, so your (and my) opinions will probably fall on deaf (or at least overworked) ears.
I dunno; IMO the regional boards and review database on TER provide sufficient resources for a hobbiest to make an informed decision. The logistics of a web site database is most like too overwhelming.
If am incorrect please feel to correct me staff or Dingus. TER does not, from what I can tell, reject a review based on a lack of a TER badge or banner hence all the CL reviews that are posted that do not have a TER review or badge. I do not know why some reviews are rejected and some are not but I am pretty sure it is not due to a missing badge or logo on a website or ad site. just my couple of pennies Scott
TER does not require the TER badge on a ladies site for a review to be approved. If that were the case, none of my last 19 reviews, since I moved to Europe where TER is unknown, would not have been posted.
In my experience, a "bad website" means one of three things: 1) I typed in the URL wrong, 2) the link no longer exists (as is often the case with CL and Backpage.com links), and 3) the link is to a profile on a rival escort review/discussion site. I once had a review initially rejected because the profile I linked was hosted at http://workinggirls-reviews.com. Once I pointed out that in spite of the name, the site contains no reviews, the review was posted! A few months ago, I had a fantastic time with a gal, but didn't bother writing a review as the only places I could find her on the web were sites that had reviews and feedback.
It is up to the reviewer to keep an eye the reviews, and if one is rejected ask why!!!
and cogent comments, as always, Jazz32! I will wait with bated breath to see if somebody comes up with the answer to the delays/rejections of reviews about which people are complaining.
