this board has gotten so uptight and defensive when it comes to supposed shilling, etc. I've been one to complain about it a bit. I'm done, and apologize. I admit I like to stir the pot a bit, but everyone should be able to post without fear of retribution. So I'll be good from now on, and only be positive on this board.

isn't a bad thing. And "policing shills" isnt either. Personally I think the issue lies in the definition. To me posting a positive (or negative) comment on the BBS about an encounter is not a "shill". A true shill is based on one of two elements. A biased less then truthful statement based on personal gain...or repeated comments ment to hype a personal favorite.

Sticking to my own postings it was common knowledge that MJ was my ATF for well over a year. At various times I'd mention her (and still do) when there was a request for 411 that seemed relevent. However, I only wrote one review (in 2004) and you wont find any mushy junk here on the BBS and I never "pushed" her on the BBS repeatedly.

To me any and all "411" posts are subject to review and scrutiny...I've commented many times that if you rely on a BBS post and come away feeling that you made a bad choice based on my (or anyone elses) post you have every right to flame away here. It's never happened (to me at least) in the roughly 3 years I've posted here. It's not about being "good"...it's about being straight up and accurate.
