I am amazed to hear the number of sexual allegations against celebrities who when they were at the top of their game, could pretty much have anyone they wanted.  The women coming out against Bill Cosby seem credible and certainly during the time (The 60s) when the activities were alleged, women would have been castigated for their activities/contributions toward such behavior, so I understand them being silent

I think about the prick who I truly admired, Lance Armstrong.  He sued people AND WON the lawsuits who talked about his doping.  Was Bill possibly on a power trip?  Was he in pursuit of that which he could not have? Or are these women capitalizing on 15 minutes of fame?

First, the allegations I've seen have ranged from 1969 to 1984, and I think others are even more recent.  I think it's at least 15 women now including Janice Dickinson.  All say he had the same MO: become a mentor in order to achieve stardom and then drug and rape them.  Cosby could have had as much sex as he wanted given his fame and money.  For him to have drugged and raped them indicates a real sickness.  It's like he's getting back at women who had rejected him or something.  It is very disturbing especially given how he acted like America's dad.

Something REALLY happened.. it is sad. I would hate for someone I watched to have this type of issue.  

BUT.. In ALL regards no matter singer, actor, athletic etc... If you are in pain or hurting from something someone did to you. . and you FINALLY do speak.. NO AMOUNT OF MONEY would take away that pain.. so when you hear the issue was"settled" out of court.: THAT makes me feel people are out to use what ever they have or know ..every inch of it to gain.

Social media is nothing more than high school gossip on steroids.  

The popular kids get the most attention when flapping their jaws.  

Is there any form of media that is reliable?  I don't think any source who exonerates or incriminates before the dust can settle can be considered reliable.

Mass communication is bound to get it skewed or wrong.  

Mass media relies on the majority of the population forming an opinion based upon a headline news flash, and then casting our vote.  

It's a shame we've let ourselves become so dumbed down.  

If Cosby wasn't rich or famous no one would give a shit what some old codger did decades ago.  

"Bill Cosby Rape Drug Allegations" are all great keywords that drive people to websites.  If this information isn't in an online publications website, the less traffic it gets.  

It's all bullshit and derived from people seeking a pay out.  That's my opinion and others have the right to disagree, but in the real world, if the average Joe Schmuck who doesn't have a dime to his name was accused of drugging and raping a woman DECADES ago, no one would even give a shit.  Not even a prosecutor.

The amazing thing to me is why they all kept silent about this until now. If there are as many as they claim, what is the likelihood that they all would keep silent on this? I could see that being the case if there was just a small number but not when there were this many. I agree that there is probably a lot more to come out about this story. Always two sides to every situation.
