When you schedule an appointment w/ an agency like AZC or DesertDivas or MystiqueUS, do they store your name, phone etc on their servers? Also, the information they require for verification, does that get stored somewhere?

You often read about these providers' "black books" coming out...

Thanks for your help.

talk to the agencies directly and get their explanation. I doubt they are going to share that on this open board.

Just a personal comment from someone who is not a newbie in this hobby:

I would never provide last name, employer and various phone numbers (other than a cell), or even meet at my home.  Rather, I can provide solid references 2, 3 or even 4 if needed. As with the brief hour or two spent with the provider, I feel there needs to be clear separation between my life and hers.  If an agency does not accept that, there is another one that will gladly take my $400/hour.
You can bet if you give that information there is a small chance it may inconvenience you sometime in the future.

You can go to Cingular and buy a GO phone for $20 in cash, give them ficticious information on you (they do not require ID) and off you go with a phone that is not traceable to you.

I told them I live at Wriggly Field.  Don't use your home internet service to sign up though - take your laptop (if you've got one) to a coffee shop or something, and do it from there or your IP address can be attached to your phone.
